I used this battery with my msi laptop. I replaced old one which was on other side of motherboard. Instead of open laptop remove motherboard and replacing battery I just unplugged old one and plugged new one. It has 8cm long wire enough long to find some room inside my laptop to install this battery.It works perfectly.

Well it's a bios battery, it works, fits, and does what is intended.My laptop had an issue where it would work until turned off for a period of time then when started back up would give hard drive errors as if the hard drive was disconnected it faulty,As a last ditch attempt at fixing it before replacing the hard drive I tried a new bios battery,Weeks later the laptop is still going strong with no more issues,

Had to order a new cmos battery for a Dell latitude d630 - it was an unusual design but found this one on Amazon at a good price - ordered and delivered promptly- fitted perfectly and laptop now can keep the time while switched off - definitely will use again

Why pay as much as £20 for a CMOS RTC battery when this is under £4 and includes Prime next day delivery???Effectively it's just a CR2032 battery with a couple of wires stuck on! The tricky bit is ensuring the connector is correct for the laptop - there are a lot of options!Anyway, this fitted my laptop perfectly and all was working within a couple of minutes. Indeed, the bulk of the time was used removing the old battery that was stuck down with over efficient double-sided tape!I am rather chuffed 😀 😊

This CMOS battery works, dismantling my laptop to fit it was stressful to say the least but no complaints on the CMOS battery, it works.

Functions exactly as should do. Delivery was great. Could do with better packaging. Should really be in ESD shielded padded bag.
