I bought the futon cover to protect the mattress from my kitties. The fabric part is quilted and works wonderful. It washes very well and does a good job. BUT, the straps are awful. There needs to be a complete redesign on how to secure the cover to the futon mattress. I can see where this design works well with a regular sofa or other pieces of furniture. But we actually sleep on our futon. When the futon is in the upright position the straps hang on the floor and does not secure the cover which in turn slides around when you sit on it. It is impossible to tighten the straps enough to secure the cover. When we lay the futon out into a bed the straps are tighter but we are sleeping on it and don't really need the cover to be secure at that time. I am really disappointed. That was a lot to pay for something I can't really use. Trying to find ways to secure the cover now to the mattress but really having issues and now am gun shy to try to buy another of a different type because I don't have the money to waste. The cover also does not protect the mattress on the ends either so I still have to worry about the kitties clawing at the mattress on the ends, which was one of the reasons I wanted the cover.Update: So I decided to buy from Amazon a set of adjustable suspender bed sheet straps like what you would use to keep your fitted sheet from coming off your mattress. Put them on and they worked like a champ. They are underneath the futon so you can't see them. They securely hold the cover in place so it doesn't move around when you sit on it but at the same time because of the elastic you can lay the futon out to the bed position and they stretch with no problems. The cover looks really great and I no longer have to worry.

What a surprise it was to me that it came with long adjustible straps. No stupid ties, brilliant! It's not difficult to install the straps that hold the cover on my futon through regular sitting and dogs with zoomies jumping all over.Seems to be tough enough to withstand huskys trying to dig a nest on the futon. So far I have no complaints, I'm about to remove the cover to wash it for a second time because "cats are gross" and puke wherever they are sitting. Yuck, but at least it wasn't the futon I have to wash.The last thing I have to write is that I think it greatly improved the look of our old ratty futon.

I love these couch covers and the design is adorable. They are easy enough to put on and they have protected the nice couch from our fur babies destroying it. They are durable, I have had them a year now, one of the strap hooks did tear off and I have one small tear in the fabric but overall very happy. I love that I can take them off wash them easily. I can also take them off when company comes over and have a beautiful couch.

So I originally loved this sofa shield, we have two german shepherds who love to use our sofa as their personal dog bed (even though they have three...) but after washing it once the metal piece that holds the strap on the bottom started to fray. Then after washing the second time, the metal piece that holds the strap fell completely off on the bottom portion of the cover. It lasted maybe 4-5 months, which is unfortunate for it was a very nice cover. Both times I washed it is was on a gentle cycle and placed into a laundry bag.If you can sew it is an easy fix, but I can not. This would be great if you are simply looking for a cover to protect it from your cat or small dog, or to simply spot clean. But I do not recommend washing it in the washer, if you want it to last.

Despite measuring my futon beforehand and ordering the futon size, it doesn’t fit properly. One side had something sticky stuck on it that messed up the chevron design. I need something now for my pet so I’ll just keep it. It’s not the best quality so I don’t mind if my pet tears it up. I do like the reversible idea though.Update: I wish I had returned this when I had the chance. It does not stay in place on my futon so my pet can still get underneath it easily. The included strap does not help.

Just received it yesterday. Fit my 70" futon well. So far it has stood up to my young German Shorthaired Pointer's antics. He gets the "100 mile an hour zoomies" around the house sometimes and I used to forever fix the blanket I have used to protect the futon. This cover stays in place. Straps are a great feature. Nice colors and seems to be good quality for the money. Have not washed it yet, but I think that it should be ok. Like it so well that I ordered a second one.

I was looking forward to received this, but when I did.. I opened the package and realized that item has different color as described, I order gray/white zigzag kind of pattern that was supposed to be grey/white color. What I received looks like brown/white color... see picture attached.. My room is light grey with white trims and I wanted this cover to match it. A material of it seems nice, but color is way off..... I'm very disappointed... I'm returning it only because of a color.

The image with the patterns/colors is vastly different than what I got. I ordered charcoal diamond, which looks like a nice ashy gray, with a lighter gray diamond pattern overlay.What I received is a very dark gray (nearly black), with bright white diamonds over it.The straps system is frustrating to use, and while the fabric loops where the hooks go into are double-stitched, I'm not confident they'll hold up to normal wear and tear of a toddler climbing up and down off the futon we repurposed with this cover. I have stapled the cover to make it taut and give it extra support, which removes the easy-to-clean aspect of the product, but it's the only thing I could do to keep it where it's supposed to be.

Compré este cobertor para un sofá cama que tengo en mi estudio donde siempre están mis perros conmigo. Se ve muy lindo y no se llena de pelos, así que el sillón se ve siempre bien. Es de muy buena calidad y tiene unos cintos para ajustarlo al sillón y que no se mueva cuando tus mascotas se suban.

La medida quedó excelente para mi sofá, sin embargo, la cubierta de tamaño "futon" no tiene cubierta para los descansabrazos, solamente para respaldo y asiento, cuidado con esto... Por lo demás, acabo de recibirla y parece una excelente compra :)

No es impermeable! Si sirve para cubrir el sillón, pero no vale la pena.

Great quality, very well made. Bought 2 of these, one in grey and one in brown. Turned our old ugly futons in to something nice! Keeps it clean and washes up well.
