Rothco Camo Boonie Hat Bucket Hat Military Hat

I was surprised to find this brand of hats is made in China! However, that tag is easily removed. The quality is first rate!!! The colors are properly done and the fit is right on!!! The price is right. This hat is just like those I was issued in the Military.

These are exactly what i wanted the multicam one is a real issued boonie cap for comparison they are very similar in size and overall exactly what i wanted but for those that are curious the size i felt was true and on par w other hats i own in this size also the issued one is 50% cotton and nylon meanwhile these hats are 100% cotton is the only difference i noticed

Nice little hat. I like it. Have worn it several times over the past few days ( I hike a lot for my health as a Type II diabetic) and enjoyed it. Fits well and looks "cool". Might even wear it next time I go to the V.A. The military has better looking headgear these days as opposed to the stupid baseball caps we got tagged with back in Cold War & Vietnam days (though they DID have boonies in the Nam). I might even get myself another one of these with digital camo.

If you are like me and you are on the edge of tacticool this Boonie will push you way over the edge. While working outside at my job no one took me seriously. However, upon donning this +5 awesomeness and +5 confidence boost to equal +10 tacticool Boonie hat people still didn't take me seriously but they did notice me. With the Chocolate Chip pattern I have Gulf War vets coming up to me and explaining how they tried to earned a purple heart by sliding behind a dumpster on base during a mortar attack. I have to be careful wearing it around town though, certain politically inclined individuals run away screaming in terror that I'll kill them with a machine gun and that I'm not a kind person. Before when I went shooting I was all over the place and constantly being escorted from the range. But now with this baby keeping the sun out of my eyes... I can finally see my target.A word of warning to you. Be careful whom you bestow this operator level accessory upon. My 16 month old daughter put it on and she immediately sprouted a full beard and plate carrier and had an aroma of gun powder and quality coffee.For those of you who can handle it, tacti-up!
