I received the Brio Botanica product a few days ago and I immediately tried it. Here we are almost a week later and, wow, what a difference already. My skin is baby smooth, some of my fine lines are disappearing and I am in heaven. I have very dry skin living in a desert environment in Arizona and Brio Botanica is doing the trick. A good vitamin C serum is a staple in my routine for photoaging – it is something that I use every day and never go without. I have to say that I am guilty of caving in to recommendations from friends and spending a lot of money on Skinceuticals CE ferulic before I wised up. Now that I’ve been looking for alternatives that are gentler on the wallet, I don’t bother purchasing unless the formulation includes a combination of vitamin C with vitamin E and also ferulic acid, as the vitamin E and ferulic acid work synergistically with the vitamin C. This Brio Botanica vitamin C serum met my high expectations.Ingredients: Organic Herbal Infusion, Organic Aloe Barbadensis Leaf (Aloe), Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vitamin C), Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), Cassia Angustifolia Seed Polysaccharide (botanical hyaluronic acid), Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel), d-Alpha Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Carbomer, (2s)-2-Amino-5-guanidinopentanoic Acid, Ferulic Acid, Kosher Vegetable Glycerin, Organic Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba Oil), Phenoxyethanol, Ethyl Hexyl Glycerin. The label states that it is 98% Natural, 72% OrganicThis serum has what I look for in a formulation (vitamin C, in this serum in the form of sodium ascorbyl phosphate, vitamin E as tocopherol, and ferulic acid) and is well priced, especially compared to the Skinceuticals (the vitamin C in Skinceuticals is l-ascorbic acid). I would recommend using this first thing in the morning after cleansing to allow for maximum absorption. As the vitamin C is formulated using sodium ascorbyl phosphate (in comparison to L-ascorbic acid), I don’t find it necessary to use it with a skin pH-adjusting toner.I love that the serum contains organic ingredients. The serum comes in a tightly-sealed dark amber-colored dropper bottle, which saved me the trouble of decanting into my own containers to stop degradation (the same way good olive oil should be stored in dark bottles!). It is a clear yellow color, and has a mild citrus smell. It did not break out or flare my dehydrated, acneic, sensitive, eczematous skin. It actually has a mildly hydrating quality, although as a serum is not meant to replace your moisturizer, so I always follow with a moisturizer and sunscreen.In summary, I would say that the Brio Botanica vitamin C serum is well-priced and appears to be well-formulated. At time of review, the serum is on sale for $23.50 for 1 ounce; as formulation does appear similar to other vitamin C serums that I have tried, but for a slightly higher price, I rate it 4 stars, I would consider it is a decent value.

a little runny but my dark spots have lightened

I like this product. It leaves my skin very smooth without drying it out. You do have to work fast with it because it sinks in quickly. My original order was lost and their customer service was awesome. They acted quickly and explained exactly what I needed to do for a replacement. I would definitely purchase from them again!

I'm a big fan of vitamin C and hyaluronic acid. This product definitely doesn't fall short in its efficacy. Unlike other face moisturizers, this kind of formula doesn't make skin slippery, sticky, or shiny because it has no texture.However, my skin is dry, and I need to apply a lot of this. After just a few applications, my face is clear! But half the bottle is gone...

I've been using this for a few weeks now. As I age, I'm getting wrinkly skin under my chin. I've been looking for a product that will help firm up that skin. This product instantly firms the skin, removing signs of wrinkling. However, it only works short term. After several hours, the firming disappears and I'm wrinkled again.

The serum is light, not oily. It dries quickly, so I can apply my regular moisturizer and makeup without waiting. I've been using it for a week, and it seems like my skin tone is smoother.
