Just...wow
The day I received this in the mail is the same exact day I used my last two scoops of coffee...it's like they were watching me... 0.0 Anyways, I couldn't wait 20 hours before I had to drink this so I decided to just suck it up and call an all-nighter (considering classes just started up at my University). First of all, PACKAGING: What a cool and unique design! I've never seen a bag quite like this, in addition to being Organic and Fair Trade?! NEATO! It's fun to read in the morning when you don't want to read the sad and depressing news. Second, TASTE: The packaging states "1-2 Tbsp of coffee for 6 oz of water" [depending on your tasting]. I usually follow the "1 Tbsp. for every 4 ounces of coffee" rule. Yes, I like it strong, and black! The aroma of just the beans before the actual brewing (we've got chemistry) is so warm and delicious! The beans are nice and oily (lovely) and look like awesomeness. And finally, when you drink it, it leaves your mouth feeling full, and almost kind of chocolately and nutty. Remember this is just MY taste buds, they're different from yours probably. There is little acidity (for those of you with a weaker stomach) and it is nice and BOLD. Your mouth with have a type of "film" around it after drinking this coffee. To put the taste in easier terms, think a lighter version of a "French Roast." Last, PRICE : QUALITY: Hey, for $10, WORTH EVERY PENNY. Get it now. I'll actually probably be buying the 3-pack after I finish this single-pack. Thank you so much for working with Fair Trade and being certified USDA Organic...my heros.

Best coffee -- you won't be disappointed!
Why did you pick this product vs others?: If you are looking for a good quality, equal exchange, organic coffee- this is the coffee! This coffee tastes amazing and has a deep flavor. We consider ourselves coffee snobs and this coffee tastes great! It has a bold coffee flavor but smooth. Freshness: We order this coffee in whole bean and grind it ourselves for a fresh pot everytime. Boldness: We like a dark bold coffee flavor

A Good Mild Flavor With Strong Nutty Notes
This coffee has done an exquisite job of marketing. Fair trade, organic, ethical in every sense of the word. And whole bean at that so you’re bound to expect the best flavor- right? This particular flavor ‘Mind, Body, and Soul’ is one that my fiance and I enjoy but don’t necessarily swoon over. It’s a medium blend that isn’t necessarily extremely robust. Both of us prefer a darker stout flavor, but love trying new coffees (especially organic fair trade options), so picked this one up on a whim during an Amazon Pantry order. The coffee comes well-packaged in a traditional foil-lined bag that seals in freshness. It’s easy to peel open and can nicely be folded shut and secured with clamps that are a part of the package. Great for convenience and storage. The whole beans are nicely roasted and ready to be ground. This particular 12 ounce bag lasted the two of us about 9 days- but we are avid (almost alarmingly so) coffee drinkers. For a typical household I’d assume this bag would easily last 2 to 3 weeks. We tried this coffee with a drip coffee maker, French press, and electric coffee maker. It wasn’t quite dark enough to work with the drip coffee maker and the flavor was very mild and watery when paired with that method. The French press got the best flavor from this coffee and really allowed you to taste the mild nutty flavor. It almost has an almondy undertone. It’s not a sweet coffee and it certainly lacks a ‘punch’ that I appreciate. But it wasn’t bad and I’d highly recommend it for people who want something gentle but flavorful to wake up with. I think I would try other coffees from this brand and would probably really like their darker flavors. For people who really want a lot of kick to their coffee I wouldn’t suggest this particular one though. Great things about this particular brand include the fact they are fair trade and organic. They source their coffee beans from small locally owned farmers who practice natural farming. Although my coffee connoisseur attitude does inspire me to occasionally indulge in a new Starbucks option, I always feel much better when I’m conscious about what I buy and opt for brands that seem more aware of their farmers practices and wellbeing. Fair Trade is a great option for the ‘ethically aware’ coffee shoppers out there. I really have no major complaints about this coffee, just the particular flavor didn’t suit my fancy. Because it was advertised as having a chocolate undertone I figured it may be a more robust flavor for a medium blend- but that wasn’t really the case. The nutty malt flavor is much more noticeable. But, if that suits your fancy, this option is certainly the right one for you.

So good, that I didnt need to add sweetener!
This is so wonderful, rich and smooth that I didn't even need to add my usual sweetener at all. I love it and knowing its been product tested as chemical free and mold free, lab results public, I feel safe using it.

Delicious!
I first had this coffee from a food truck vendor at an event and had to ask the brand, because it’s the best I’ve had in quite a while. The vendor gave me the coffee to water ratio they use, and I’m still experimenting to get it just right for home brew, but regardless, great flavor. Medium strength, wonderful aroma and the beans are fresh!

Great coffee terrible shipping
This is amazing coffee but they need to work on how they ship it. It was just thrown in the box so the bags are busted open. I'll give it one more try. Hopefully they protect the bags a little better.

Good price and great bold flavor
These dark roast coffee beans were the cheapest I found on Amazon, and I thought they might not make the bold coffee taste I like. I was surprised, however, at the smooth, bold taste. I don't know if these will continue at this price point given all the tariff drama, but I liked these beans so much I ordered an additional bag.
