Support cushion for low back PT
I needed a wedge type support for physical therapy exercises for my spondylolisthesis. I am happy with the size and portability of this pillow. It does loose a little air and needs an air refill but it is easy to do so. I have used it while watching t.v. in the family room, but it also easily transfers to my bed if needed there. When I no longer need it, it can be deflated for storage.

Comfortable. Holds air. Good for travel.
I had to return the first one I got because it would not hold air. I returned it and got another in two days (even before I had physically returned the first one). This one holds air. It’s helps my swollen ankles and my back. You can just wipe it down to clean it. You can easily adjust the height by letting out a little air while it’s in use.

Great Product Until It Is Not
This Support Cushion, once inflated, is just wonderful for what it is designed for but...after a short period, the Cushion does NOT STAY INFLATED as if there is a leak somewhere!!! The first one I got did that and I had a time getting it replaced. Once I got the replacement, it lasted about a month longer than the first one then it did the exact same thing...seeping air out until it became disfunctional and useless!!!I will NEVER buy another Cushion from Contour and that's a shame, this could have been a great product but the quality is questionable!

Any problems?
I use it to keep my feet from swelling. It works well but only lasts about two months. They wind up getting a leak around that time.

Perfect after long hours at work standing up, especially when I'm traveling
I do a lot of catering work and after my last week long, 80 hour gig my feet and ankles were more swollen than usual (tl;dr- I'm not getting any younger). I initially planned on buying the solid foam leg pillows, but decided on this option because of the low price b/c I didn't want to spend a ton of money and then find out it didn't help. I am SO glad I bought this!Pros- Having options for "knees up" and "feet" up positions is fantastic. Once the initial swelling subsided in my feet I noticed how sore my back was- the knees up position doesn't elevate my feet quite as much, but the relief of back strain is totally worth that trade-off. The instructions say to let a little air out of the pillow if it's too high, and the valve for doing so makes it easy to deflate it a little bit at a time. In hindsight I'm so glad I selected a travel friendly option- next time I pack for a travel gig I'll deflate this, pack up it with the pump (together they take up less space as a gallon of milk), and will be able to use it each day after work.Cons- The pump appears to be designed specifically for this item and while it works great, losing it would be inconvenient and I'd have to jerry-rig another hand pump. Still, the product is affordable enough that buying another pillow/pump set would be an option so that drawback is small. I'm fairly tall and this is a bit firmer than I like when it's inflated enough to keep feet/legs at the ideal height, but deflating a tiny bit and putting a folded (fluffy) blanket over it as padding adds softness without changing the overall height. I might replace the folded blanket for a piece of foam in the future if I find a good deal and/or replace my mattress topper.Overall, this is literally the best $20 I've spent in years- I've already recommended it to friends who spend long hours on their feet at work in healthcare, food service, retail, etc.

Do not buy on amazon, inferior quality
This is ok in a pinch but does not stay inflated even over night. The one I bought at the drug store has a different (better) valve design (like pool floaties) and stays inflated well. Both versions include a hand pump. Other difference is the one on amazon the shape was a little different too which I liked less. The amazon one basically had the same support on both sides vs the one in store I notice a difference from one side to the other which is helpful. I do not recommend buying from Amazon, garbage quality.

This worked great...for a while. Updated review.
Update 11/29/23: After 6 weeks of using this, it looks like it's all done. I had hoped for more from this, but it leaks all the way flat after about 4 hours. I don't know if the filler hole leaks or if there's a faulty seam somewhere. Because of this, I've reduced the rating to 2 stars. Had I known about this apparently common leakage problem, I wouldn't have ordered this cushion and simply can't recommend it. Original post:I had a knee replacement recently and a good recovery is all about doing the physical therapy. It's hard. My PT provider had an expensive foam pillow shaped like this and it was good, so I decided that I kneed one of them too. This inflatable is lots less money than the professional foamies so I ordered it. It works perfectly. In an odd twist of industrial design & manufacture, the air filling hole has a cap like those we've seen on other inflatable devices for our entire lives. This one doesn't work. The cap simply can't be snapped on over the hole fitting because they got through production with the size totally too small. Fortunately, there's a twisty fitting inside that you can turn, albeit with great difficulty, to close off the airflow. [Update: The short tube piece is designed to stay on the hand pump. That wasn't obvious to me at first, but the cap does *sort of* fit over the filler hole, but it is far from secure and easily pops off. After you pump up the pillow, which is easy with the decent pump that's included, take your scissor tips and poke them down into the hole to turn the valve. Sadly, we see idiotic things like this make it to the final production stage all too often. Example: Cadillac Escalades with heated steering wheels that have a gorgeous stainless trim ring that stays cold to the touch so you still want gloves on a cold morning. Or 48" LED conversion tubes from Amazon that are 1/8" shorter than the supposedly identical ones you received on the first order, so they fall right out of the fixture.

My son had a broken leg that need to be elevated and we tried to use this. It was ok, not as sturdy as we neeeded it to be and had to en dup using a memory foam one.

Nobody can blow up this Beast !
There is no way in the world that anybody able can hold this beast of a bag and pump it up at the same time!!!I am disabled and I couldn't do it ...neither could my abled brothers and sisters !The Beast pillow needs an electronic pump, it cant be pumped up using the hand pump given with the pillow. You need to hold the pump...pinch the valve and hold the pillow. Thats 6 hands needed so far !Its impossible for one person!!And when you finally do blow it up..the pillow stands to half a metre tall. How does one get it under the covers in bed?Its too high ! My legs were in the sky ! They never fell over the pillow straight like the picture. Its impossible. This pillows photos are photoshopped....it is impossible to achieve such a stance unless you are a 7 foot giant !I will be asking for a refund and returning the item back to the owner. Obviously NOT a trial and tested item on humans !
