Solder Castolin 5 is ideal for soldering copper, brass, bronze. Solder Castolin 5 has good fluidity and wettability, has a low melting point. Solder Castolin 5 provides smooth, dense and porous seams during soldering process. Castolin 5 has no oxidative effect on copper, the copper soldering process can be conducted without flux. Permissible operating temperature is up to 150°C. Cold resistance up to approx. -70C. The silver content in the solder improves the mechanical properties of the bond. For soldering: copper (SF-Cu), cast copper, bronze (CuSn alloys), soldering brass (CuZn alloys), melchiora (CuNiZn alloys), Al-bronze (CuAl alloys).
