I'd read many reviews of other products where the velcro didn't hold up and opted to pay a little more for this one and found it to be very durable and supportive. I only needed to use the product for a couple weeks as I was able to have surgery rather quickly so I don't know about long-term use, but for the time I used it, it worked great. Being able to either put the support cushion inside the pouch or on the outside provided additional flexibility for use. I was able to wear this on the outside of my clothing and my untucked shirt covered it well (I did NOT use the strap that goes around your groin). The belt stayed in place and the velcro held up really well. Added bonus of having it on the outside of my clothing made using the bathroom much easier. Definitely would recommend.

I am pleasantly surprised that this truss has completely eliminated the pain from the hernia. It stays in place all day but slides on and off easily without the velcro closure having to be reset each day.

This is the most comfortable hernia support I have ever warn... It uses top quality material and works 90%.. However using it for several months I noticed a few short cummings... The ball that cushions the hernia is a little too hard, causes pain after a long wear... Plus the connection between the botton hold down strap & belt was poorly designed, it immediately twists and cuts into the rubber straps, eventuall it will cut all the way through... The last thing that needs to be changed is where the belt connects... Both velcro connections need to be in the front of the belt so it can be tightened properly... Most of us need to lie on our backs to tighten the belt, connecting in the back is difficult for me... Overall it is still the best hernia belt I have ever warn... Added note, these belts are not meant to be warn all day long, one or two hours is as long as it should be warn, causes nerve pain when warn too long...

Works wonderfully. Make sure you have a good short brief type underwear at least. Any thing that doesn't protect a little more of your leg could be irritated with the thin under strap. Very good velcro, feels very secure.

Wasn't sure if this belt would be of any real help. But, surprisingly using it does seem to help. Purchased it to use primarily to go to the gym. Tried it on when it arrived to get accustomed and have found it to be effective in relieving the mild pain I had. So, I will tend to use it outside of the gym, since it has proven to be comfortable and easy to put on. You just have to make initial adjustments to fit your needs. I thought the pad provided would be to obtrusive, because of it's size. But, if it was any smaller it probably would not be very effective. Doesn't seem to be obviously noticeable, but loose clothing certainly would help. Also, looks to be well made, so it should last . Again, pleasantly surprised!

Stays in place and does what it’s supposed to, but the little plastic piece that you thread the leg strap through is very hard plastic and eventually starts to dig into you. Bad placement or maybe just use a different softer material

I wore this hernia belt for 6 months till I could get in for surgery. It was comfortable, fit well and held up to all my everyday activities including golf every week. It has a little pocket to hold a pad and I made an extra one that was a little thinner for days when I didn't want the bulge. Great support for abdominal bulge. Very happy with purchase.

The belt provides good pressure to reduce pain and discomfort from my hernia. It was easy to put on and adjust. The adjustable compression pad does restrict some movement when bending over so you have to adjust your movements with it in place. It works well as intended and eases the pain and discomfort.
