Gives me my daily dose of vitamin A in such a pleasant and convenient way. And it is quite effective! Keeps my eyes and skin bright after a stressful day.I suggest mixing it with your smoothie or juice... makes it much healthier and potent. You can also take it sublingually either way the taste is just fine.

it wasn't as thick as some other Vitamin A drops

I bought this thinking it was a topical treatment. It was not. Did not like taste. Received order quickly.

EDIT** I originally gave this product a two-star review due to the company's lack of response to my questions about what form of vitamin A was in this supplement, and how many IUs were in each drop. Because vitamin A can lead to toxicity if too much is ingested too quickly OR over a long period of time, I was concerned.But the company has reached out to me apologizing for the delay, and responding to my question. According to their labs this vitamin A is retinyl palmitate and each drop contains 5,000 IU of vitamin a. This is approximately 2750mcg. Although the daily recommended allowance is, for women, 700 mcg (or μg) the UL (or Upper Limit, the maximum daily intake unlikely to cause adverse health effects) is 3,000. That makes this supplement reasonably safe to consume.Be aware that if you are currently eating a low-fat diet your foods are most likely fortified in vitamin A, and that diet combined with supplements high in vitamin A can lead to toxicity. If absolutely needed, I'd recommend taking this supplement once every few days or using externally.Additionally there are links to an increase in skin damage when using vitamin A in the sun. When using this product topically, be sure to use plenty of sunscreen (NOT fortified in vitamin A) when in the sun, or apply at night.Please see the first of the bottom links to see contra-indications for the use of vitamin A as it can cause side effects with some medications.Now onto the actual product: I wasn't comfortable taking this product consistently because I was unsure what kind of vitamin A it contained and how much. I will begin to test it now that I have confirmed it is safe.What I do know about it is that it tastes fine. It says it has a delicious vanilla flavor, and that's a tiny bit of a stretch. It has a vanilla-cosmetic flavor. IF you're a woman, it tastes like some vanilla flavored lipsticks. Not unbearable, not gross, but also not delicious. Love, love, love this serum! I have struggled with acne for pretty much my entire life, even as an adult! I have tried about just about every face wash, serum and moisturizers on the market. It actually tastes and smells quite refreshing; Very similar to vanilla. Since using this Vitamin A supplement, there have been so many improvements to my skin. Aside from my breakouts going away, my skin is significantly smoother and more radiant. Wish I would have discovered this product sooner so I would not of had to deal with acne for so long!
