Works with difficulty, good customer service.
This package plus a key is close to $150 and you still have to cut the key. If your local locksmith will do it for $180 and you don't plan to ever use the program again, that might be a better solution. My package came with a DVD with the software. They sent version 17.1, which expired in July 2023 so it didn't work. I messaged them and they sent me a link for version 17.3, which does work. The latest version is 18.0. You have to disable your virus software to install all the components. There is a way of using a virtual machine but I didn't. You have to start the software by clicking on the patch. Otherwise, it doesn't work. You have to open Techstream to connect it with the driver for the cable. I watched a YouTube by Mở hộp to install the software and a video by Doin’ It with Andrey to program the key. It took hours and many attempts to install the software so that it worked. The key programming was easy after that. I didn't get the metal key cut because I have never had to use the emergency key on any vehicle.

No customer service yet
I have the software installed on a brand new laptop yet it won’t automatically recognize the vehicle I connect it to. I’ve seen the reviews that say that when they had a problem they sent an email and it was responded to quickly, they connected to their computer remotely with Team viewer, and had everything working like it should in no time. NOT the case here. I have sent several emails over the last 2 weeks and still no reply. The cable and software may work well, I just don’t know. If they eventually reply to my emails and get it working as it should, I’ll change my rating. Until then one star is all they are worth.*UPDATE* I was finally able to get together with them and they got the software installed properly (they say) but TechStream is not working as it should. It doesn’t identify either of my vehicles when it connects. I’m going to try an older laptop with USB 2.0 ports to see if that works. Until then, I just can’t change my rating.*UPDATE 2*. I got another laptop that has USB 2.0 ports and installed Team Viewer and got them to connect to my new laptop and install the necessary software. It still doesn’t automatically identify either of my vehicles when it connects (I have a 2017 Tacoma and a 2018 Camry) but after I tell it the vehicle model, year, engine, and key option, it seems to work as it should. I haven’t tried to make any real changes but it does connect to and communicate with the vehicles. I’m just disappointed that it won’t automatically identify the connected vehicle like all of the YouTube videos I have seen show that it should. I increased the rating to 3 stars. Whenever I use it to actually make some changes or set up new keys I will update this review again.*UPDATE 3* Changed my rating back to 1 star. I have talked to other people who use different, although more expensive, cables and their TechStream software recognizes the vehicle and the VIN right off. They also didn’t need to let someone from China take control of their computer to get it working. Spend a little more money and get a Tactrix cable.

Saved me a TON of $$ / hassle
Really impressed with this product and the customer service that came with it. Like others had said, dealership was charging $300+ to duplicate a single transponder (non-Smart) key for my new-to-me 4Runner.Bought 2 blanks from cars and truck remotes. com ($80 for 2), got those cut at Ace (free), then ordered this product.Once it arrived, I was having some difficulty getting the software to work properly, I emailed the address that came in the package, they did remote tech support (I was sketched out a little but they were efficient and I could see what they were doing the whole time), got me set up in under 15min.From that point it only took me about 30 min in the car to get both keys programmed fully, and I was able to look at / modify ALL dealer options. Love it. THANK YOU!

Tech support and setup is A+
I was hesitant to try this option to be able to program my Matrix transponder keys along with a client's 2009 camry keys and transponder. I tried to follow the software download and install instructions and was not successful. The seller gives the option for remote installation by him using Team Viewer conferencing software and your computer's firewall and security protocols must be turned off to install a cracked version of Toyota Techstream software for this cable to work. I decided to take a chance and let the vendor do the install which he did promptly within 24 hours of the request. I made a recovery flash drive for my laptop before requesting a remote install to protect against any possible virus or malware and will note that my laptop is working just as well as it was before the remote installation of the software. I would highly recommend that when you are ready to have software remote installed to close all programs, games and videos as this will delay the seller to do the install. I could have returned this cable and purchased a toyota key and fob programmer dongle for about the same price but now I have detailed diagnostic tool that allows me access to all the computers and canbus on Toyota, Lexus and Scion vehicles along with the ability to troubleshoot and Fully clear DTC codes.

Stay away from this product, very dangerous!
If I could rate this less than one star I would. Product stated that it came with software disc, what it did come with is a download link. The software that I downloaded from that link required you to disable your Windows security your firewall and antivirus in order to install it. I needed to use the device so like an idiot I followed the instructions. I immediately noticed strange things happening with my computer and unplugged from the internet and re-enabled my security and antivirus. So then the fun began when I found out I had several new viruses and all the sudden websites that I visited like my banks and others we're giving me notices that I was locked out due to too many login attempts. Funny since I hadn't tried to log in. Anyway I'd stay real clear of this product.
