Brooklyn Aurora 13" Luxury Cooling Gel Hybrid Mattress, Queen Soft

This is the best mattress I’ve ever had, and I take sleep very seriously so I don’t say that lightly.As background, I grew up with spring mattresses, and have suffered from lower back pain for most of my life. I’m a side sleeper and always had to sleep with a pillow under my waist for extra support. I bought an all memory foam mattress a year ago that was only slightly better for me in terms of support, but my fiancé (who sleeps on his back) said it didn't have enough support for him, and was way too hot.When we moved to a new apartment I decided to start over with a fresh mattress, and researched these things for weeks trying to decide between a traditional spring mattress or whether to give memory foam another go. The Aurora seemed like a perfect marriage of the two, and boy am I glad I decided to try it. It’s so comfy that we don’t want to get out of bed in the morning. Soft but with the perfect amount of bounce and support. It doesn’t even need a mattress topper the way most spring mattresses do. We’ve only had it for a few days, so I’ll have to update my review in a few months to say whether it holds up. As of right now though, the medium king Aurora mattress has two very happy customers. Back and side sleeper approved.

This was a major let down. It does keep me cooler at night than my old memory foam mattress and the shipping was very quick but it's like sleeping on a blow up mattress. Mine was the medium firm and it was neither soft enough to be comfortable nor firm enough to be supportive. I'm a skinny guy and I still sunk down in the middle enough to get my spine completely out of alignment and unable to sleep in this thing at all. Now to wait and see if they keep their 120 guarantee.

I did a lot of research on the mattress in box companies and Brooklyn Bedding kept coming up because of their Hybrid mattress and the fact that they manufacture their own products. I also liked the fact that they are one of the few mattress in a box companies that have a choice of firmness. We choose the soft firmness and could not be happier. The mattress is so comfortable, and it really does stay cool to the touch. I can’t wait to change all the mattresses in my home to Brooklyn Bedding and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a new mattress.

First: the mattress was awful. It's extremely bouncy, almost the same as sleeping on a poor quality air mattress. Second: do not ever purchase a mattress on Amazon. They are not up front on the return policy and it is not the same as buying directly from the manufacturer. You WILL be charged hundreds of dollars of restocking fees and this is not clearly explained before purchasing.

Very nice bed for the price. Maybe a little on the soft side (but this is subjective) this is why 4 stars not 5. Its is very cool for a hybrid and the sides are firm so you can sleep near the edge. I would by another but maybe if I could get it in firm

After researching for mattresses for about a month, I was pretty much decided on going for a Leesa Hybrid which is about 1.6 K, then looking on amazon for it I came across the BB Aurora, and the temperature regulation immediately caught my attention as I tend to sleep hot, it was 1.1K with a 200 USD coupon so why not? most reviews said they were pretty similar (Leesa Hybrid & Aurora), and boy I was right! I used to have a Sealy which was pretty expensive and it is not even half as good as the Aurora, the temperature control is absolutely real, and if you sleep hot this is your mattress, period!. Now for firmness we went for a Firm after reading a review saying that it was more medium-firm than firm and it is true, and that was exactly what we were looking for, so overall amazing mattress lets see how it behaves over time.

I literally hate this bed. I went from a 12 year old tempurpedic bed to this and the difference is stark.The corners of the bed are still curling down almost a month after receiving it and the head/foot of the bed is depressed as well. Garbage quality product and not comfortable at all.The first thirty days I've had this product is the worst sleep I've had in over a decade.Do not buy this.

When it comes to comfort it’s ok but it has 2 tears on each side already and for the price it’s very disappointing. I was expecting this to last a couple years at least but it looks like it’s not even gonna make it thru the year.
