Once taken out of the box it was pretty obvious how to connect it and the system took it over from there. He is now able to play his games again because he has the storage.I would definitely recommend. In fact, in hindsight, I should have also purchased one for photos, for myself. Next time .I am posting this in case anyone else is switching from PC to Mac so you know it works with either.

Fantastic little drive. It's small and easy to throw into a backpack or even slide it into a front pocket if you're in a hurry to get somewhere. I bought it for my PS4 as extended storage and it works perfectly. Would recommend to anyone looking to expand their storage on their pc or gaming console.

I'm still baffled to carry 2TB in such a small package, best price out there, I got 100MBs sequential write speeds on it on an USB 3.1 port copying from an HDD. Decent speed, I am happy with it.I play video games online, but have sh!tty internet speeds, so downloading updates and new games can be a hassle. Add onto that, running out of storage space and having to pick and choose what games have to be uninstalled to free up space. This thing is a lifesaver.

This was so easy to use! I was able to just plug it in and start using it right away. I had a problem with my HP laptop and even though my husband and I were able to fix it, I became a little paranoid about only having one backup (and that was Internet-based).

So far, great! I bought two of these for a simple server backup that I rotate out. I chose these due to the fact that I will be bringing them back and forth and leaving in a backpack sometimes in order to provide an offline and offsite backup for my companies server data. This is a secondary backup, so simple USB drives is all I wanted to deal with. I very much like the promise of durability and the package does seem very good for that, as all 4 corners are rubberized nicely.

The 2TB backup plus slim works great on my Apple MBP 12,1, early 2015 one. The case of this unit is just smooth, beautiful, and no misaligned gaps. The short sata-usb 3.1 cable also is a well made quality piece.

I had a 500Gb external HD I have been using for years. Didn't realize it was as small as 500Gb until I needed to use it. Was pleasantly surprised when I saw 2Tb external drive prices, so I went for this one because of the number of reviews. Just did a backup of my photos and music in quite a bit less time than on my older 500Gb drive. This made no discernible noise and was only slightly warm to the touch after a quick 100Gb backup. If you don't need an SSD drive, this one seems to be a great choice.

At the first sight of it, it looks so cool! The size is small and weight is light. It's easily carried with. The memory size is 2 tb. I think it 's worth the price. Now I can use it to store much data and help my desktop save much memory. This brand is amazing and there is no need for instructions because the set up and installation is fast. You'll be transferring files in no time!
