dr johns creamcicle hard candies
My husband is diabetic and this brand is his favorite - he does prefer the various taffies, but they are not available right now... so... we move to these. To me, they taste sweet and satisfying - but not very flavor specific. We buy these often... Just a helpful note - if you are going to buy these, you'll need an air tight container. They really need the air tight container to stay fresh and delicious.

Awful and Not Returnable
I am not a fussy person, and I eat many foods that might be considered out of the mainstream. I regularly consume xylitol in foods, and use xylitol toothpaste and mouthwash. I was not expecting to compare these candies to, let’s say, Jolly Rancher type candy, but was unprepared for how truly awful these taste. I tried three different flavors to be certain I was not averse to one flavor, but no, I found them all distasteful. They also taste acidic, perhaps from the added vitamin C. One other concern is that, for some strange reason, these felt like they were a choking hazard due to their shape and slipperiness. I usually pocket hard candies in my cheek, but as I transfer from one side to another, I had an uneasy feeling that they could easily slip down my throat. Weird, I know. This has never happened to me before. Lastly, these are NOT returnable, so I am out $. If you must try these, I suggest buying a small package to be certain they are to your liking. Obviously, some people do like them, so I am in the minority. Also consider buying the suckers, especially for elderly or young persons to help ameliorate the choking issue. Xylitol is a good tooth decay fighter. I will continue my search for a candy for a little sweet treat.

FYI
These are really good actually.

Not very sweet
Flavor is ok. A bit sour and not very sweet. Might just be my personal tastes. Wouldn’t order again. Pretty good value for the money in terms of quantity.

Not much cream flavor
For the one pound bag, it comes to about 25 cents per candy. They taste alright, but no lingering dry mouth relief. I only taste a cream flavor with the orange and strawberry.

Delicious sweet treat!
After a visit with my dentist, she referred this yummy sugar free candy because of my increased cavity count. I suffer from dry mouth and was using peppermint candies to moisten my mouth. My dentist encouraged me to try Dr. John's candies. I am so glad she made the recommendation, as not only do they moisten my mouth but the candy flavors are delicious.

Utterly Tasteless
Thus far, I've tried the sour candies, the cream-swirl candies, and the berry cream-swirl lollipops. These cream-swirl candies have just about zero taste to them. The only decent flavor of sour candies is strawberry. The cream lollipops have slightly improved taste over these cream-swirl candies. Regardless of the benefits of Xylitol candy, none of this brand's ingredients list Xylitol as the main or single ingredient. Also, I'm not so sure that "dietary fiber" doesn't come with a higher GI index number, or at least doesn't partially get absorbed, so these may not be as sugar free as indicated.

Sugar free
All the flavor varieties were very good. Slightly over priced though.
