Dr Keller Mens Texas Wide Fitting Shoes

Not the best
The shoes are comfortable to wear but their quality leaves something to be desired. If you look at my photos you can see that, whilst the price is low, it’s clear that there’s little in the way of quality control with poor finishing, poor stitching and, in one place on mine a small hole. I fixed the hole with a small drop of superglue and have found that they are now fairly waterproof and, as I said, comfortable.Would I buy again? No, probably not

Cheap quality the sole came off after 5/6 weeks!
Purchased 4th October for my son but by mid November the sole of one shoe had completely come away from the leather at the front. Had to use gorilla glue urgently to repair it as he needed them for school the following day and had no others to wear but the repair looks awful so he can't wear them now. Won't be buying Dr Keller shoes again, my local cheap shoe shop has better quality that last longer than 5/6 weeks!!!

I purchased these shoes for my Dad. He said they are comfortable, wear well and are good value for a pair of leather shoes. He has had a couple of pairs of these shoes previously bought from a local shop that no longer sells them. Hence why I purchased these for him on Amazon. They arrived promptly and properly packaged! The fit are true to size too. Would definitely buy from this seller again. Perfect! :-)

Had to buy these.
After having my ankle run over by my work partner in a 3.5 ton van, having an emergency operation to turn the ankle back 90 degrees and repair ligaments and tendons. 6 weeks in plaster, 6 weeks in a boot plus open wounds infected by the cast. I needed footwear to wear for work ( I do grounds maintenance and end of housing rental remedial work) as winter and the bad weather was approaching. Bought these and they have been absolutely fantastic, comfortable and waterproof even when strimming and lawnmowing in monsoon conditions (believe me)! Still going strong and they clean up a treat even if they aren't the most attractive footwear I have owned. Brilliant for swollen feet.

Comfy
I bought this pair of shoes despite I bought another one just a few weeks ago, but they are sooo comfortable, I couldn't resist to have a spare pair at hand once my current favourites break.Usually my shoes don't last that long, either the sole is run thru fast or the leather breaks on the sides, just behind the toes. My pair of Dr. Keller is so far looking really good and at the current price it's a clear: must buy.

They fell apart
Bought these for my teenage son for school, only worn in school and no where else (gets a lift to and from school) and they still fell apart after about 6 weeks, I know they're not expensive but I expected at least 6 months from them. I have no idea where these good ratings are coming from.

Comfortable shoes
These days I only buy Dr Keller wide-fitting shoes. They are not expensive and of my last 2 pairs, one lasted 15 months and the other 2 years and 3 months, both eventually wearing out by developing a split across the sole. With this pair, I may try getting them soled by my local cobbler, and see if I can extend their life to 10 years. They are extremely comfortable and well-made. I walk at least 4 miles (sometimes 10 or 15) every day, 7 days a week, so these shoes have to be both durable and comfortable. Highly recommended for anybody with wide feet. The only reason I have not awarded 5 stars is because, with heavy use, the soles wear thin and split in 18 months to 2 years, but perhaps this problem can be overcome with good cobbling.
