Just wish it had a solar charger controller and it would be perfect. But you can always mount it on the back.

If I could give this box negative stars I would. I had to have the first one replaced for a faulty bypass switch and now the new one quit charging externally. After several forum comments this seems to be a common issue on both accounts. Safe yourself some money and buy a battery box and an external charger. You will be far better off.

I have purchased this device direct from the seller and loaded it with an exide deep cycle 115ah battery (sold separately) and absolutely love the combination. I have had the device for a year now and have since paired it with a renogy 100w solar panel and charge controller and this is enough to keep the device powered during the day while i am out so i can charge cameras speakers whatever you want (within 300w) out of it. convenient to use slightly heavy but hey it's worth it.Pros- long battery time(depends on battery installed)- convenient display to see charge and cycle type- semi-high output of 300w- easy setup from battery types.- can jump your car if you need it tocons- heavy- kind of an expensive setup.
