Good tool.
I used this drill bit to bore a hole to take a tea-light candle and made a wax melts burner. Only problem is in a hand drill it bounces around a lot. Best used in a pillar drill.

Clean cutting and accurate.
Was slightly apprehensive about the quality of this drill bit, but after having cut a few holes, it seems to perform very well. Close inspection of the TCT cutting parts reveals it's less expensive origins, but it is constructed reasonably well. The side cutters are positioned slightly squint, but in the final grinding stage, this is compensated for. There is 20thou run-out on the shaft, however, only 5 thou run-out on the side cutters. It cuts quite clean, some slight cross grain tear out on pine, but cut very cleanly on oak. Sides of the holes and top edge are very clean. Hole size was quite accurate, within .2mm. This tool will not get heavy use, so should be fine for me. Hopefully it will continue to perform well. Overall, I am very happy with the performance of this bit, but I have only cut a few holes so far.

Delivered quickly and works well
Prompt service, which was great for the project I was working on. I already had some smaller sizes so knew the quality would be very good. I have used this with a hand-held power drill which was OK with practice and patience. Probably more accurate and safer to use in a proper rig but I did not have one.

Does the job.
Drills hardwood with ease.

Not the greatest
Not sure they'll last more than a few cuts, don't seem to be the sharpest

Can’t use these drill bit on timber or ply without a pillar drill or a jig, MDF if fine.
Only just received it, looks okay, will write a proper review once I’ve used several times.Just wanted to say, you can’t use this in a hand drill if drill solid wood doors or ply, only MDF.Solid doors, the pin will drift, making a mess of the door, as seen in other reviews. If used in a hand drill, a jig must be made, you can make one out of MDF, just drill a hole all the way through a piece of 18mm mdf, then clamp the jig on to the solid wood door, and start to drill, this will stop the bit from drifting.

Initially did a clean cut very quickly with lovely shavings but on iroko it quickly blunted after 3 attempts.
