Gread Addition to Save A Battery
Used this with the battery tended I already had. This was attached to another vehicle so the charger could be attached quickly.

5 Amp Fuse
Use caution when using a different charger other than the Save-A-Battery on the fused positive line (2' Battery Terminal LUG 5 AMP Fused #2120).The in-line 5 amp knife fuse in the wire connecting the charger to the battery positive (+) terminal (2' Battery Terminal LUG 5 AMP Fused #2120) was partially blown. The fuse failed in such a way that a small current can still pass thru indicated by a voltage drop. The Save-A-Battery charger identified the issue by a low battery voltage and alarm when used as a voltage meter.A Schumacher charger was used which has a 2, 12 & 25 amp selector. The 5 amp fuse may have blown when the charging current was temporarily at 12 or 25 amp condition during the unattended charging.
