Great recipes & ideas!
I love Tina's more balanced approarch to eating and macros as I often struggle with this "all or nothing" mentality with eating and struggle with eating a more balanced diet. There are so many recipes that I'm excited to try with ingredients that are easy to find or that I usually have on hand. I like the overnight oat recipes that are easy to prep and have ready to go for the next day. The meal plans in the back of the book are a great resource and help to see how everything fits together. If you are interested in learning more about following a macro diet, I recommend this book!

Great introduction to macros and healthy balanced eating.
I’m loving this new cookbook. I’m new to the idea of counting macros, and found the intro easy to follow. The recipes are not over complicated and there are so many ideas. I eat Pescatarian, and still find this cookbook to be excellent, although it’s an omnivore focus. I’ve been following carrots and cake for years and I’ve always enjoyed the content, this is right on brand. I appreciate the concept of eating to live and not living in deprivation. This is a great addition to any cookbook shelf.

Yes yes yes!
I absolutely LOVE this cookbook. It makes planning out my weekly meals and grocery lists so much easier. My only complaint which is the reason I gave it 4 stars is because some of the recipes only say “per serving” but you’re not exactly sure what a serving is. So you do risk going over or under the macros listed on the recipe. If each recipe was measured out by grams or something, that would be so much more helpful. For example I made the pumpkin Mac and cheese which makes 4 servings, but I had to eye ball how much one serving was out of the pot.Other than that, highly recommend!

So many amazing recipes!
I’ve mostly just had the breakfast recipes so far but haven’t had anything I didn’t like. I like that they have few ingredients, are easy and quick to make, and have the nutrients / macros along the side of every recipe.

Simple, delicious and macro friendly recipes!
I’ve followed Carrots’ N Cake for years and always like Tina’s simple macro friendly recipes. This book does not disappoint. My favorites so far are the ground beef with Cowboy Caviar from Trader Joe’s, the pecan crusted salmon and the coconut panko cod. It’s also handy to have the macros for every recipe. I know I will use this cookbook a lot.

Great cookbook but don't expect a lot of pictures
So I hate to give this book only a three-star only because I very much am excited to have it and just start cooking recipes out of it and start filling my brain with a more healthier Outlook. So I'm going to start with the pros and cons and why I only gave it a three star.Starting with the pros. I'm really excited to be cooking all this food lol I'm a single mom of two girls and I find that a lot of these recipes are doable for us and they also have a lot of sweet stuff that seems healthy as well that my kids would enjoy. They have a lot of good information on macro counting and every single recipe tells you how much protein fats carbs and everything there is in it it even has some meal plans in the back for the first two weeks which I think is awesome and I was really excited about! So overall this book is definitely going to be a big thing in my life right now as I try out all the new recipes and I feel my brain with new information. I also got the book faster thinner stronger I believe it's called as well to go with it.Now to the cons. So I'm a very visual person when it comes to my cookbooks and cooking. I'm literally going to have to look up almost every recipe that I haven't heard of which is a lot of them to see what it looks like online. Seeing a visual picture helps me when I'm cooking and may even speed up the process because I may look at the picture and be like oh okay I know what to do I know what I'm trying to do. and I was going to get another macro cookbook that was for only eight bucks instead I spent the extra money on this cookbook simply because I thought that there would be more pictures so yeah there are some pictures but there's only about two pictures per a section. and that was a huge disappointment to me the whole reason why I spent extra money was for the pictures LOL. Although it's still not going to stop me it does make it harder I also like to cook with my kids and it helps them to see a picture as well when I say look this is what we're going to cook tonight. or sometimes I like to give them the option of what they want to eat for dinner so I could show them two pictures and I can't do that with this cookbook. So I definitely suggest them putting more pictures into it if they did this cookbook could be absolutely phenomenal and my favorite but because that part upset me so much I took away two stars.Other than that the beginning of the book gives a lot of information and is very informational and very helpful I think even to beginners. it's nice and thick comes with a lot of recipes comes with a lot of breakfast recipes side recipes sauces snacks dinners desserts. I'm also really glad she put a zoodle recipe in there because I love zoodles LOL. And there's even a little letter that she writes in there to us and I thought it was really inspirational. so overall no regrets I'm buying this I'm just saying if I knew there wasn't so many photos I probably would have gone with the cheaper cookbook that I was originally planning on getting.

Lots of great recipes
The recipes are straight forward and most of the ingredients are in my cabinet already. Just need to buy a few items for my arsenal and begin prepping. There is an area with duplicate recipes, but that’s just a printing error and doesn’t deserve a lower rating. I’d love it to have more pics, but then this cookbook would be too big. Would definitely recommend!!
