Thermal Waffle Weave Baby Blanket with Satin Nylon Trim (Mint Green)

I love, love, love, loveeeee this blanket. I still have mine from 30 years ago and bought my niece one so we can match! It’s not too thick but still keeps you warm. The color is gorgeous and holds up well. It’s my comfort item so I may be a little bias lol

I had the Baby Morgan balloon pattern blanket as a kid. This is EXACTLY the same. People comment that it is rough, which may be true fresh out of the package. As soon as it has been washed a few times, it feels just as soft as the originals, I promise!My son loves this blanket so much that we own three of them on rotation between our house, his grandmothers house and at daycare (he's glued to it).I'm probably buying a 4th one to cut and sew into a smaller blanket for better travel and for daycare. They are full size blankies so if your kiddo drags it around, they'll trip on it like mine haha.

I have the pink and blue Unibabe brand ones that look very similar to this. A few washes and they are soft and snuggly. Which led me to buy the green one for my 3rd child- and this was the only green I could find. It was pretty rough coming out of the package but figured after a few washes it would be soft …. A year later and it’s still very rough/scratchy and stiff. I washed it normally as I did the others…. recently got frustrated and purposely put it through the washer multiple times in a row just by itself in hopes it would “break” in and lose the roughness…. I’m sad to say that it’s still rough. I will be looking for another green one in a different brand!

I was skeptical b/c I saw reviews saying it was bad quality and not soft but I’m so glad I got it! I’ve had my Morgan baby blanket for over 22 years and decided to get a new one but unfortunately the company is no longer around. After some searching I found this one and have been highly impressed. I got “mint green” and my original one is in “aqua” so I ordered another from the store Belk. In comparison this amazon one is way better and more like the baby Morgan blankets. I wish they made it in aqua b/c I would buy them all!!

I’m returning the blanket. I purchased it based on a couple reviews that said it was like the blanket from the 90’s which was satin bound and a soft waffle knit material. The binding is satin but the fabric is nothing like the retro soft waffle knit fabric. It’s definitely not what I was hoping for.

Wish it wasn't this expensive, but it is perfect. I buy them for my grand babies - it is mostly cotton - satin trim and extra large. Perfect all weather weight (kind of light). My first grandchild already is very attached and needs her yellow blankie for night time (she is two). Two more grand babies on the way in Oct. (Blue - its a boy and Green - unknown if it is a boy or girl). Even for my kids - I buy two, one as a back up :). the colors are true to the pictures.

Ordered the mint green. Color is a Weird grey green. Not very soft, even after 3 washings.
