I bought the sand to use it on top of the soil in my plants. It keeps the moisture in the soil and it is more appealing than looking at the potting soil. The sand is clean and it feels moist when you touch it. Actually it felt good to the touch and if I had small children I would use it as play sand. It is actually comforting playing with the sand. Also, I like the packaging. It came in a bucket that was tightly sealed. That is a great feature and the reason that I purchased this product. I feel comfortable knowing that I can safely store it in the bucket for future use.

Nice sand for kids to play with.

We were buying the sand for our lady chameleon to lay her eggs. This is perfect. We've bought other brands that say washed & grated that were not. Very happy with this sand and are buying more!

Great send for a small area. Very fine sand that has been washed and filtered. A little expensive compared to other play sand

This is good sand. It is a nice brown beachy color. But it is expensive.

Fantastic for craft, household, or gardening use.

This sand was such a disappointment. It looked and smelled like it was scooped directly off the beach and shipped. It smelled awful. There was all kinds of debris in it - pine cones, dry leaves, etc. I bought several buckets and had to send it all back.

A little damp still but no dust when dried. I actually use it for a reptile habitat.
