**UPDATE**After only seven months of use, this power adapter just stopped working this morning. We don't have excessive dust or hair and it's kept clean and dry and in a very well ventilated area. There is no reason for it to have stopped working other than it being a poorly made item. I even took it apart and checked to see if the fan was being prevented from spinning or if anything looked amiss. Nope. Everything is as it should be inside EXCEPT for the fact that it no longer works! I can't recommend buying since only seven months of use pretty much makes it a disposable item. Very disappointed!Ordered when our original Microsoft power adapter fried out after a power outage. Packaging is all in Spanish (but it's not like we needed instructions on how to use it). It's been powering our Xbox for about two months now with no problems...fingers crossed. (FYI - this is also the adapter with only ONE connector that plugs into the back of the Xbox - it won't work for the original Xbox with the double connection and surprisingly, this one was harder to find than the other ones...) I now have a happy Minecraft player once again. *rolls eyes* :)

It's better then what I expected

Does exactly as advertised. Nothing more, nothing less.

Cords only last 2 months. this is the 4th cord we have bought and they all die right after you are able to return it. It overheats and then shuts off

Used this cord not even 3 months and it went bad. Of course i cant return it now because i only had until January 31st!
