Cygolite 22 to 32mm Handlebar Mount For All Ranger, Metro, and Streak Series Bike Lights – Designed For 22 to 32mm Diameter Bicycle Handlebars – Genuine Cygolite Mount

I needed another light holder for my second bike and this one worked great.

I bought a new bike with oval aluminum handlebars (Liv/Giant D-Fuse 31.8mm) and was annoyed when I realized my Cygolite mount wouldn't fit. I read somewhere online that the newer version of this mount was more oval than the original round one and they were right - this fits my bars perfectly! No need to replace my light and now I have enough mounts to leave on each bike.

This Cygolite brand is awesome. I still have the first one I bought - the 360 lumens model - at least 10 years ago and it holds a charge like it was new. I've since bought 2 more knowing they will last years.

The bracket that came with my light originally, broke when I was taking the light off after putting my bike in a rack. I love the light and was afraid that I wouldn't be able to use it anymore if I couldn't attach it to my handlebars. I found this replacement bracket and it works perfectly. It fits my handlebars and the light snaps in with a good fit. The only downside I have found is that the swivel part of the base is a little loose. Riding on streets, it's no problem, but if you are going over bumpy terrain you might find it slowly pointing a different direction.

This item works as advertised, good quality stays tight and in place, but for smaller handle bars such as my huffy cruiser you need to put something the handle bar like tape are some rubber so it will fit, still 5* to me, mind is own a motorized bike and still don't move

Good quality mount for the Cygolite lights. You get a few degrees of pivot left/right to adjust the aim. The screw holding the pivot head is held by a captured Nyloc style nut, and it does still seem to loosen after a while, possibly because it is such a small diameter. Not a big deal - it is easy to tighten, but I added a drop of loctite which should eliminate the need to tighten it again. Note: I have updated this review (11/15/15) after realizing that of the three mounts I have, ONE of them has a shorter threaded rod for the thumbscrew, which is probably an older style. This review is specific to these newer mounts on Amazon. They will fit a 31.8mm handlebar.

A perfect duplicate of the original.

As advertised, stays in place. Not a heavy duty mount, and maybe it doesn't need to be, it works. I had to reverse the thumb nut to get it thread onto the screw and my handle bars are modern day standard 31.8mm.

I've been using Cygolite lights for years now, and have been really happy with their products and accessories. I bought a second bike and was getting annoyed with having to move the mount between the two. Build quality is good and worked just as expected. Would deffo buy another,

Made very small fits a kids bike! What were they thinking when they designed this. I had to remove the rubber protection to make it fit and still very tight!
