Seems like a great kit. I just wasn't very good at it.
Cute kit. Good way to find out embroidery isn't really my thing. I had a hard time with parts of the kit ( string kept tangling, couldn't get the big flowers right and my Letters dont look great) But that's more on me than the kit. Patten made sense (both the paper one with the stitch guide and the printed one on the cloth) and I had more than enough string. But after this I think I'll just stick with cross stitching.

Fun, but not great instructions.
I've done a bit of sewing and I'm pretty crafty so I was able to figure it out. Especially with the help of youtube. The colors on the image don't match the string colors real well so some of it may not be exact, but I feel like I've done well with it.

Great beginner kit
I wasn't wild about the colors, so I supplemented mine with a handful of other colors. The instructions were minimal, but good enough, even for a beginner. I did not love the quality of the hoop, but it was basic and you can't really complain for the cost. The only real issue I had with this one was that the ink didn't wash off very cleanly, even after soaking for 20 minutes. Perhaps I made an error somehow, but there was a very subtle blue haze on the white fabric when I was done. Will try again, this one was great fun and very much loved by the recipient of the completed craft.

Easy for beginners
I really enjoyed doing this. I am a novice, so I had to watch some YouTube videos to learn all the stitches. I am very happy with results. I used my own colors and turned it into a tiny pillow.

Not for beginners.
I wanted to love this so badly and was so excited to start on it, but it is really terrible if you’re a beginner like myself. The instructions do not help. When I see “cross stitch” advertised in the product title, I sort of expect, well, cross stitch. With the proper quilted/textured fabric that these patterns are usually on, or with x’s. Instead it was on a flat tea towel fabric. I’m sure it works for advanced stitchers but it’s not what I expect from a cross stitch kit! I have to shelf it for probably years before I can try it again, if I haven’t already ruined it in the attempt.

Good product, but the directions could be more helpful
Great product but the pattern could come with a little more direction for those that need it. This was the first one I have ever done, and I ended up going off pattern. I would recommend watching Diana Vingert videos on YouTube to walk you through other stitches and techniques, very helpful.

Beginner friendly, but missing a color
This was my first time embroidering and I loved it! It took me about 3 weeks to complete (working on it about an hour a day). I took off a star for it missing a color, but I just used a different color from some embroidery floss that I had. Anyway, as a beginner I thought it was very easy to complete and just looked up different stitches on YouTube if I didn’t understand the instructions it came with. All in all, very fun and relaxing to complete.

Good beginner's project
This was my first embroidery project, and this was an easy to follow design. It comes with plenty of extra thread, and the blue printed design washes easily when you're done. My big complaint though was that the colors provided don't exactly match up with the colors in the sample picture. Otherwise, this was a great starter kit!
