ROYAL ROSE Organic Cardamom Clove Simple Syrup, 8 OZ

This Royal Rose brand of simple syrup is phenomenally good quality and I will order this product again. Liked the care with which the glass bottles were packaged for shipping. Arrived quickly too.

Great for my cocktails, saves me time in not having to make my own.

This syrup adds a unique flavor to my drinks. This is my second purchase; I received it in an NA subscription box and loved it so I purchased it again.

I make all my old fashioned cocktails with this.Love the scent and flavor especially well balanced when with bourbon and bitters.

I recently purchased the ROYAL ROSE Organic Cardamom Simple Syrup, and I must say, it has been a huge letdown. Despite the high expectations I had for this product, it simply does not deliver the flavor one would expect from a cardamom syrup.From the very first use, I noticed that there was barely any cardamom flavor. I tried adding more syrup to my drinks, hoping to enhance the taste, but even flooding my beverages with it didn’t make a significant difference. The flavor is so faint that it might as well be non-existent. It’s incredibly disappointing, especially considering the premium price tag.To be fair, the cardamom syrup does have a bit more flavor compared to the ROYAL ROSE Organic Rose Simple Syrup, but it’s still lacking. The syrup is supposed to add a subtle spice note to cocktails and other drinks, but it fails to do so. Instead, it just adds sweetness without any of the distinctive cardamom aroma or taste. This makes it no different from any generic simple syrup you could buy for a fraction of the cost.Overall, I would not recommend the ROYAL ROSE Organic Cardamom Simple Syrup. It does not live up to its claims and is not worth the money. If you’re looking for a cardamom syrup that actually tastes like cardamom, this is not the product for you.

Absolutely love this stuff. I mix it in my tea as well as a Tblsp. in Cottage Cheese and fruit.

It’s just okay. I would not reorder. The flavor profile is not super strong and the bottle is FAR smaller than I realized. For the price, you could get 4x this much syrup in order brands and actually be able to taste the addition to your drink. I was hopeful for a really good cardamom syrup, this didn’t make the cut.

The Clove comes across mostly at the finish. Cardamom is mostly at the start, and a bit over powered by the Clove, in my mind. I was looking for more Cardamom flavor. Pours easily, a good consistency, not too runny. A solid syrup...a shade heavy on the clove proportions for my taste.
