Bellelli Bicycle Baby Carrier in Stem, Seatpost or Rack mounts

BEST PURCHASE! I read through many different seats to purchase because I have a 5 yr old son who would rather ride with me than ride his bike. I was hesitant looking at other items until I came to this specific seat. What a time and life saver! The seat is extremely light yet VERY sturdy. I have a huffy beach cruiser that came with the attached rack on back. This seat was soooooooooooooo easy to attach I had it on and secured in less than 30 seconds after getting it out of the box. It was in one piece so absolutely no assembly required other than to slide on rack and tighten the clamps. Voila! Best of all, he fits perfectly in itand adds no bulky unsteady weight. My bike is a beast as is lol. His body is not cramped and I'm free of his appendages unless he reaches out to tap me on the back. The foot rests are adjustable as his legs grow. This will fit any rack right off the bat whether your bike came with one or you have to buy. This is a hassle free seat to attach and reattach. I didnt need the owners manual. Once its out of the box, one look at it and its obvious what 2 simple steps you have to take. Even the harnesses are alreay set and ready to go. The harness and clamps are very secure. My 5 yr old has attmpted to unfasten them when we stop but he is unable. It does take a bit of effort which is great because I dont fear him coming loose. Also you have to make sure you push down til you hear it snap in place between the legs. If it doesnt, its not secured. Additional perk for me, I got it the very next day FedEx! So glad I found this. We have a special needs 5 year old son (43 lbs) who is unable to ride a bike himself. He loves the outdoors so this is a good way for him to enjoy bike riding with the family.Very easy to put together and take off. There is even a belt snap to secure his legs from dangling or moving them around.Not a fan of the bright color but well worth the price!

I had to buy a seat for my son who refuses to ride his own bike before I bought myself a bike because he is 4 and weighs 47 pounds and has extremely long legs. This seat is extremely sturdy, easy to assemble directly onto the bike and I feel confident that my son is safe riding on it. It's the only seat I could find for safety at his weight as I don't feel secure with the trailers which is just my personal preference. I highly recommend this seat, just make sure you read the product instructions on mounting and rear load capacity of your bike. Not sure why so many people purchase a rack with this as having one makes it impossible to install. The seat goes directly into the bracet provided which attaches to the rail of the bike. The metal piece that laces the seat into the bracet becomes its own rack and having a rack under it would make the seat not fit safely. Highly recommend this my son and I have had so much fun now that he is too big for the stroller but too stubborn to ride his own bike.

Overall, this is a great bike seat. I love how ventilated the back is, so my son doesn't get as hot on long summer bike rides. He also seems really comfortable in it. It fits great on my husband's hybrid cruiser bike. Only thing is that it only has shoulder straps. I really wish it had a belt around his hips, as he's on the smaller side, so I'm afraid he'd wiggle out. We solved it by using my husband's old cloth belt which we secure around his waist and slip through the holes in the back, so now his waist is secure as well as his shoulders. Wish that feature would have come with the bike seat, but nothing an easy DIY belt couldn't fix.

Have biked with this seat attached to my bike's built in rack about 5 times now. Was super easy to install and adjust the straps and feet holders. (I watched a youtube video to ensure I properly attached the seat.) Had an accident the first day out (I fell off the bike, it hit the ground). The seat stayed attached to the bike and the sides protected toddler from hitting the ground, the ankle straps kept her feet inside as well, and the molding around her foot kept the bike from smashing her foot. Toddler was startled but uninjured. The equipment held up as well. I checked it after the fall, no broken or bent parts. I was able to easily re-attach it firmly to the bike and to ride home safely with child. In our subsequent rides, still no attachment issues and the seat feels as firmly attached and in tact as when I originally took it out of the box. Toddler enjoys riding even after the first day accident (she climbed in without problem even after our fall). Seat holds firmly to the rack even on bumpy terrain, around curves, etc. (I rode behind my partner and toddler to check for any movement of the seat while the bike was in motion.) I originally was not a fan of the bulky look of this seat, which is relatively light weight, but understand after my fall how the design protects the little rider. So while it isn't as sleek as some other seats, it's perfectly designed for keeping a little rider safe. I researched many of these seats before buying this one. Happy with this purchase. Highly recommend!!!!

I bought this for my 5year old granddaughter to pop to the shops and a quick run before the winter comes. Next year she'll be 6and possibly too big to be carried.She loves it . I had a back carrier on the bike already which gives me added security as she is not a toddler. Easy to fit to bike and easy to take off when not in use and to store away love it so much and I'm so glad I found it my granddaughter is 20kg

Very handy bracket, now I have two so I can fit my Bellelli Mr. Fox seat to either mine or my wife's bicycle easily. The clamp attaches securely to the rear upright of the bicycle, works fine both on mens' and women's bikes, on one bike the rear brake cable runs up the upright tube but the clamp attached without impeding the cable so no problem.Il Bebe dispatched amazingly fast, arrived the next day despite being sent from Italy. OK, they sent the wrong item the first time, but when I reported this they sent the correct item so I still got it within two days.

You’ll notice the the two pieces of plastic between the child’s feet in the photo.Upon fitting the seat the plastic is touching, giving no clearance (rubbing on wheel) and minimal protection from the wheel. The instructions suggest one third of the rear wheel is covered for safety with a mud guard which covers from hub the entire wheel.My recommendation is to go for a seat design that holds child’s legs away from wheel , by offering adequate protection from the wheel. Maybe this explains the price .

Sturdy and light weight. My daughter and I love in this on ur bike and our rides to the park. Screws may require power tools as they are very tight, once in place they are quite sturdy. Easy to take off and easy to click in.

I'm quite torn as to how to rate this seat, but I think 3 ("just okay") is a fair rating for it.The good:1. the seat mounting bracket is solid and stays in place once tightened2. the seat comes with two lengths of bolts to accommodate various frame shapes3. The seat and straps hold the child in place securely4. The price is quite reasonableThe bad:1. This seat didn't fit properly despite saying that it would fit 26-28" bicycles. If your bicycle has a top tube and rear forks that all meet at the top of the vertical/seat tube AND your seat isn't raised much then this seat will likely be OK. However, my hard tail (cross country) bike has its rear fork mounts part-way down and when the seat is mounted, the front of my son's helmet is only about an inch from my lower back2. The wheel fairings (near leg supports) rub on the wheels and basically need to be cut back for proper fit3. The seat has about an inch of side-to-side play in the bracket when installed4. The shoulder straps had to be tightened all the way down and were still a little loose, so this seat may not be not good for smaller kids either. Our 1-year-old son is 24lb+ and 31"+ tall (top 5% for height and weight for his age).So all in all, I can imagine this seat will do the trick some bicycles, but I wouldn't say the quality is much better than Chinese analogs and the metal mounting bracket should really be 3-4" longer for better fit.

Fitted to bike easily, also easy to use

L'articolo è ben fatto in ogni sua parte, ottimi materiali solido sicuro. L'istallazione sulla bici va effettuata con cura, trattandosi di un articolo universale, che si deve adattare a tutte le bici non è garantito che questo sia fattibile, per via delle diverse conformazioni dei telai. Io personalmente ho cercato di istallarlo prima sulla mia mountan bike, ma non è stato possibile perché, malgrado l'abbia istallato alla massima altezza, prima del collarino reggisella, il seggiolino durante la marcia con le asperità dell'asfalto urtava sullo pneumatico posteriore, e quindi ho dovuto smontarlo. Poi l'ho montato su una city bike, ed il risultato è stato eccellente, la bimba ( 4 anni 16kg. ) e stabile e sicura, si diverte, la bici resta maneggevole. I sistemi di ritenuta del passeggero sono ottimi le regolazioni giuste. Ottimo acquisto davvero un prodotto ben fatto.

Appena arrivato l’ho subito montato sulla bici. Facilissimo il montaggio con istruzioni anche in italiano, leggero e comodo per il bambino. Mio figlio ci sta molto volentieri...

Installato facilmente su MTB da 26" Merida Matt 40 , provato con bimba a bordo praticamente non si senta la differenza. Nessuna oscillazione laterale e pochi sobbalzi. L'ho provato anche su una Olimpya da 29 ma purtroppo per via della conformazione del telaio , una volta montato la distanza è troppo ravvicinata alla ruota ( 2cm circa) percui è inutilizzabile. Consiglio di verificare bene la conformazione del telaio MTB : i due montanti posteriori non devono essere troppo bassi. Esite un supporto al seggiolino con le estremità piu lunghe; solo in questo caso potrebbe "fittare" su questo tipo di MTB il codice del costruttore è : 03 SUF ST03 XL Fork

Il seggiolino è semplice da installare; anche l'inserimento e la rimozione sono molto veloci e la bimba mi sembra stia comoda al punto che è capitato che si addormentasse.L'unico difetto se possiamo definirlo tale, è che sulla mia mtb, anche montandolo in maniera che sia più arretrato possibile, se sono io a pedalare devo tenere i piedi molto avanti sui pedali perchè altrimenti il tallone sbatte sul poggiapiedi del seggiolino, problema che invece non ha mia moglie che ha un piede più piccolo (lei un 38 io un 43).
