Why does a battery last 3,000hrs with emg but only 200hrs with fishman's?

The Fishmans have modeling tech.in them which require more power than EMGs

Yes it does come with the battery pack.

Technically you can, but you don't need to....I wouldn't recommend it. You won't get the same result as when you change EMG pickups from 9v to 18v. The Fishman pickups require a lot more "juice" that other active pickups. That's why they designed them to work with a rechargeable battery pack.
