Enjoy your ice cream just as the Astronauts do- the freeze-dried way! Originally developed for the early Apollo missions, freeze dried ice cream is frozen to -40 degrees F and then vacuum dried and placed in a special foil pouch. This food item is great to take along hikes or when camping. Produced in a Facility that process peanuts, milk, soy, wheat, gluten, egg and tree nut ingredients. Contains 4 Packs Due to the nature of the preparation, the item may come broken in pieces.

Just ok, can be too chocolatey
The creaminess cannot be compared to the Neapolitan one... This one was a bit too chocolatey for me (Mostly because of the outer layer). If the inner cookies and cream one was eaten alone it is pretty good. They all came cracked with slits inside though... Don't know how safe that is, but the outer layer was still sealed.

but not bad! I bet it's a huge hit in space
Bought for experience, not really the flavor, but not bad! I bet it's a huge hit in space :) Was fun for a space party!

Mediocre Cookie
It wasn't the best astronaut ice cream I've tasted. I prefer the Neapolitan ice cream. The Neapolitan ice cream melts in your mouth! This was kind of hard and tasted like a cookie. It wasn't that satisfying but it wasn't horribly bad. Just mediocre.
