I was excited about this despite some poor reviews. I can say that it definitely isn't too loud as some consumers claimed. Easy enough to program. However, by the very first morning monkey's eyes were open, the arms of the clock are still functional (I can hear the gears quietly turning) but the digital clock which controls the whole alarm bit is completely blank and no button I push changes it or turns it back on. Brand new batteries that are making the rest of the clock work fine(The part I don't need for this to be a sleep training tool). Also the monkey's eyes won't close as they did the first night. Probably related to the same dysfunction. I'm returning it and for personal reasons I think I'll try a light up sleep trainer instead. Here's hoping a bigger better tech company can make something worth $40 that can get us all a little extra sleep in the morning! Good luck fellow parent-zombies!

Although the concept is brilliant and Momo is cute as can be, I unfortunately have to only give this product a 2 star review as I had to return two of them. The first Momo was returned because the mechanical hands did not work. The digital part worked which allowed the alarm and Momo's eyes to open and close worked but it's hard to justify the payment for a product when only half of it worked. I decided to give Momo a second try and this time the product worked for 15 hours then stopped working all together. I attempted to change the batteries (although the first ones were new) and nothing worked at all. My little guy was disappointed that Momo was broken as he was understanding the concept of the eyes opening and closing as he is not able to tell his colors yet (with other sleep trainers). We are now trying Sam the Sheep.

This was for my 2yr old granddaughter who lives in Paris. She loves it! (more important, her parents love it: the daughter stays in bed until the alarm goes off!).

My baby absolutely loves the monkey, the timer works great, it have digital and analog clock, it's super cute. The reason I gave it 3 stars is the absence of light. When baby wakes up in the middle of the night, it's impossible to see if monkey's eyes closed or open.

Lov the concept , disappointed that I put in fresh batteries , and the clock keeps stopping , would like to resolve this issue mayb an exchange ? Would have given a five star if the clock would keep running but it keeps stopping

I've had this for over a month now with (Duracell) batteries which were partially used and have had no problems. I was worried based on other reviews but for the price thought I'd take a chance, and I'm glad I did.
