Not well constructed
These gloves really do work well to remove pet hair from my cat while he just lays in my lap and enjoys the rubs. The glove apparently feels good because he starts purring immediately. And they capture lots and lots of hair. I've found that the best way to clean the glove once it's full, is to start at the palm and rub with force toward the fingers. This will remove the hair in one clump.The problem I found with the gloves is that the hand portion is bit big for me, but the wrist straps seem small. Putting them on and off caused the elastic band to tear away from the glove almost immediately, on both gloves. They still work okay, but that was a bit disappointing right off the bat.Overall, I like them and they do what they are supposed to do. I just wish they were a little better made. They should have a least held together longer than one use. I stitched the elastic back on and I'm still using them, but that shouldn't have been necessary.So I give them 1 star for durability and construction, and 5 stars for performance so the average is 3.

Two golden retrievers and a cat
The gloves are a bit lighter than I anticipated and tend to shift on your hand when using. This really does not significantly interfere with their function however. I have been very pleased with the amount of hair which is removed with one pass and the ease of removing that hair The gloves are easy to get on and remove and the velcro strap is effective in preventing the glove from slipping off when usingWould really rate at nearly a 5 if it were not for the underlying glove . Have just begun using and will see have durable they are.I need to add that my dogs and cat really appreciated the attention they are getting when we use these to deshedUpdate: My golden retriever puppies liked them so much that they ate them. The dogs are fine and I suppose I will need to reorder soon

Unique gift idea
The nubs should be longer we have 2 golden retrievers with long wavy hair. Have to constantly clean in order to keep brushing. Very unique idea.

The rubber pieces come off in just a few months and the hair doesn't easily come out of gloves.
