The base is flimsy and tips over. Any suggestion on how to add weight to the base?

As long as the “arm” is positioned properly, the base shouldn’t tip over. If you feel like you still need to add weight, you can glue a washer to the bottom side of the base.

Does this really work ?

Yes it comes in handy when you have a bottle of polish that is low, you can angle it so you can get the polish. Happy with it.

Does it fit OPI nail polish?

Yes it does. Fits all bottles. You might need to adjust the screw. Purchase two One was too tight. The other was OK but now it occasionally needs to be tighten.

Will this hold bottles smaller than the average size bottle of nail polish?

It will hold over 100 sizes of bottles. Without actually seeing the bottle hard to say. But I would lean toward yes unless it is extremely skinny or tiny

It works

In the star rating questions, it refers to suction power. There is no suction so that's confusing.The downfalls are that, while it appears to be metal (maybe I missed that in the description), it is lightweight plastic so that means it might break easily.Also, to move the arm into position, it actually has predetermined positions. Personally, I would rather have stiffness to the arm and be able to position it exactly where I would like BUT the predetermined positions are pretty good.The clamp has rubber linings for good grip and it opens wide to accommodate large bottles.Overall, this is a great product but it would have received 5 stars if it was metal.

Lightweight and sturdy grip

At first I had a hard time adjusting the holder. Luckily I had a miniature screwdriver set on hand to unloosen it so the arm could adjust up or down. Otherwise it works fine.

Great Addition to Manicure Set. Wish I had it Years Ago.

I am actually really thrilled with this purchase and its something I've been missing for years of nail painting!
