Just not what I expected. There not horrible but I did not realize that no mater what setting you are on you stuck with shapes appearing like flowers hearts and holly leaves. I had though it would have a option for lined and dots moving around with no shapes as the pictures show. I bough them for a party with music and dancing

I have several disco lights in my apartment. Just a fun thing for me this is a very cool one. One of my favorites.
