Nintendo Switch (Welcome To Animal Crossing Edition)

I am a traditional console gamer. Having a ps2 and 3 and an Xbox One. I was hoping to get my hands on a ps5 but with stock being so messy I thought I would put that plan aside and would try a switch after seeing it was the best selling console of 2020 and my desire to try the new animal crossing and breath of the wild. And I am so happy i made that decision.The console is amazing. With the colours and animal crossing theme giving this console a unique look which I think is probably the best switch around right now. The hand-held screen is better than I thought it would be and playing in hand-held mode in bed at night has become part of my daily routine. But of course playing on a TV is even better and the games all look gorgeous. The one thing I would mark down on the console is the memory. At only 32gb, you will need to buy a memory card, but luckily game sizes aren't that big so you can last for a while.The games are fun and I find them very relaxing, especially animal crossing, with games such as breath of the wild or Immortals Fenyx Rising (which I highly recommend) satisfying the need I have for RPGs or more action type games, with the switch having a good balance of more mainstream action genre games and relaxing easy to play games. And these games have provided me with fun I haven't had since my parents brought me a Wii so many years ago.I cannot recommend the switch more, for any type of gamer, whether you're buying for a child or something the family can play together, or you're questioning whether you should try it like I was. The switch provides endless, laid-back fun suitable for everyone, with a games library to back it up. And the cute and vibrant animal crossing theme making the console a joy to look at. I couldn't be happier!

I love this switch so much! It’s so pretty and it came in perfect, brand new condition. It arrived within two weeks and it even came a couple of days early! It didn’t come with the download code but I wasn’t too bothered as I have a spare copy of the game anyway. It also came with the American charger rather than the UK charger which could be annoying if you don’t have a spare, as then you’d have to buy a new one separately. I think it’s definitely worth the extra money and I am very happy with my purchase! Such a great console and so excited to play on it! I definitely recommend.

I was going to wait until all the prices were down for any version of the switch, but I realised that I had the money so it was a now or never sort of thing. I’m so glad I bought this one, the prices of the games are ridiculously high, so having the game I wanted the most already installed, that was the best option.It arrived earlier than was predicted so that was already a great start. The box and console were not damaged in the slightest and I didn’t even need to fully charge the switch before my first use!The set up was easy, just plug it into the wall, attach all the cables in the right place and boom, set up. Setting up the user stuff on the console was a breeze as well, took me no time at all to start playing the game.The one thing I have a slight problem with is when I switch the joycons to the small handheld controller, the switching has scratched up the inside of the joycons, leaving black streaks along that side. It’s not noticeable if you’re not really looking for it, you don’t really look at where it is, but I know it’s there and it’s made me a little sad since this is a special edition switch. Oh well, it’s perfectly fine, the console still runs.Overall, a great console, a brilliant game and amazing customer service.

Didn't order early enough for Christmas 2020 and ended up competing with everyone stuck at home during lockdown trying to buy games consoles. Waited many weeks for a decent price that never came, so I bit the bullet and paid the inflated price so I could start playing. Plus, as my children both have consoles I wanted to have different coloured joycons so they don't get all mixed up and we know whose is whose. ACNH edition is a lovely designed console, but the cost could have been fairer.

As other reviews have said, there isn't a game or game code in the box (I was given a copy of the game) but I couldn't be happier with it! It was brand new and I've had no issues at all. Mine was from Hong Kong so it came with a UK three prong socket but I'd recommend buying a plug just in case it comes from a different country (I bought a plug just in case and sent it back for a refund).If you're thinking about it, buy the Switch! Life is short, fill it with beautiful animal crossing related games consoles!

I just received my package. Have not set it up yet, I thought I do a review firstly. Absolutely gorgeous! The set comes with all the essentials and a game code for download. My 3 year old Switch is dying on me and the pre-order and waiting was worthwhile. I know many of you had downloaded the digital copy, past midnight but for someone like me, doing so on my old Switch would be a waste. But, it is finally here and am super excited. Amazon delivery status had been showing 21st March as the date of delivery, since day one. I am glad that it is today. A BIG Thank You to all Amazon team member for making my day! 🤩🤩🤩

Absolutely brilliant, a gorgeous edition and yes it’s pricey but having played with it for a couple of weeks it is worth every penny as far as I’m concerned. Fast dispatch from the seller - came a day earlier than the expected delivery day so that was a lovely surprise! Also they answered my question very promptly and politely before I purchased it. A very happy customer!
