Key Houses of the Twentieth Century: Plans, Sections and Elevations (Key Architecture Series) Paperback – October 17, 2006

A great collection of some of the iconic houses of the 20th century the drawings of them.Having spent many hours searching the web for such drawings in the past I greatly appreciate having all of them printed in the book and as CAD files on a cd.

A must have if u’re studying architecture!

These are good coffee table books. You get a snap shot of some seminal works. There are other books that do it better with better photos. If you want a small taste of a variety of works try the NOW! series. The book it self is a 3 or 4. I gave it a 5 because it comes with a CD of small scale plans elevations and sections in pdf and DWG

I bought this book to research a specific house, and while it did not have a lot of information on any single house, it is a good compilation of houses. There were plenty from all parts of the century from varying architects, so I got a good taste of many different architectural style.I loved that cd- i had to print out many scaled copies of plans, and i could do it without fumbling around with around on a copy machine. I could just print it out.overall, pretty happy i picked this book

Fantastic reference book. Includes CD of cad drawings of all the houses - just be aware the scale may be incorrect for some of them.
