Amaryllis Picotee Healthy Bulb 28-30cm! Great Holiday Gift! Easy Grow Bulbs!

My Amaryllis have grown strong, healthy stocks, and have absolutely beautiful blooms just as pictured! Six weeks to the day after planting!!!

I've been growing amaryllis for years, but had to start over because I lost all of my others, (which had huge bulbs after years of care) in the Lahaina fires last year. I'm fully aware that the bigger the bulb the bigger and better the flowers! That's why I chose these, as they were advertised as HUGE bulbs! Unfortunately that wasn't the case! They were also poorly packed in a huge box with one piece of crumbled brown paper, leaving lots of room to bang around inside the box and onto the other bulbs. I decided to keep and plant them anyway. One is already blooming after 2 weeks, but the flowers are already ugly and browned, extremely short and half dead before they've even opened. The others haven't done a thing and it doesn't look as though they will. They should have at least a peak of new growth coming up, they don't. I wish that I had trusted my intuition and sent them back but it's obviously too late now. I emailed the company and got NO reply. I'm assuming they just don't care. Again when in doubt...trust your gut! I always read reviews before I purchase anything. The reviews were good. Sorry for this bad review but these NOT HUGE bulbs weren't cheap @ approx $25 each and I bought several! Perhaps I was just very unlucky. I'm feeling like a complete sucker, having paid a lot of money for nothing but utter disappointment! 😔

I purchased 2 bulbs. They are the most healthy bulbs ever purchased. They are growing beautifully and color accurate

First time trying amaryllis flowers. Bulbs arrived very healthy. First pic is growth in just 3 days after receiving. Flowering within 3 weeks of putting in water. Love these!

What a wonderful addition to my living room! I received this Amaryllis about 6 or 8 weeks ago and it had 4 huge blossoms that enriched my living room for several weeks. I let it rest. And lo and behold: now it has 4 more big blossoms and even more are about to come!! I have never seen anything like this before!!!

The bulb was large and healthy and already sprouting. I planted it immediately and it bloomed in less than a month. The blooms are as beautiful as any I have ever seen but the size is smaller than any of the amaryllis I have grown in decades. Don't know if the variety just has smaller blooms than other varieties since bloom size is not mentioned in the description or if there is some other reason for the small size.
