Very assertive and delicious flavor.

Actually had an olive oil tasting (with 5 other oils, all about the same price point) and this was the favorite in the group

I use it to give the dishes flavor. I use regular olive oil for most everything, then drizzle this one for flavor or to finish decorating a soup or caprese. It's also delicious with salt, pepper and warm bread.They say the picual is more robust and spicy than the arbequina. I have not stopped to compare them but I use this one (arbequina) for salads and soups. And I use the picual for flavoring meat or heartier dishes.
