The Price of Blood Hardcover – January 1, 1997

I read the third one of the Phil Broker series as a free book on Amazon. I have read a lot of free books that way, but this is the first time I went back online and paid for more of the series. As a matter, I bought all the other ones. Great writing, great characters, and great pace. I just finished this book, the first in the series, and am looking forward to reading the others.

Story about post Vietnam. Fast moving, good plot, unpredictable. Fun read. Not a great fan of this writers style. Too wordy.

I tried to make a go of it but the story was so disjointed and herky jerky. Pity too bc I loved the.main character

Well-crafted, well-written - an excellent thriller.

Talk about action packed!! This book keeps you wanting more and delivers it. I'm a new fan of Mr. Logan's and am reading all of his books in order. This is the first of the Broker/Pryce books and am looking forward to reading the rest. So far, Mr. Logan has not disappointed me and I am sure he won't in the rest of his books.There are a lot of going back to Viet Nam books out there, but Mr. Logan gives this a different twist and it pays off. Nicely done!

Etnertaining and complex story of Vietnam veterans returning to Vietnam to retrieve a fortune in buried gold. Violent, harrowing, and involving,with interesting characters and satisfying plot twists. Nothing wrong with this one.

Well written, lots of twists and a hair-raising conclusion in Vietnam. Broker and Nina are rugged, endearing characters. Cyrus La Porte and a very bad dude called Bevode made for memorable antagonists..
