Door Stop - Low Profile Wedge Shaped Rubber Door Stopper with Brushed Stainless Steel Handle and Hook Accessory by Everything is Play

I own a cafe and bought these door stops thinking that they were industrial grade and would be able to prop my front doors open. I have used them only 2 days so far and they have almost fallen apart. The rubber gets warped and is extremely soft. The medal bracket around the back is held in by 4 small studs that do not go all the way through the door stop and as soon as there is pressure applied they pop out. If you are getting these for home use I cannot give you any advice, however if you are intending to use them for any industrial door, I strongly discourage from buying this product.

I got such a nice follow-up email from the seller that I had to repeat what I wrote. This kind of personal service and follow-up is rare and it's good to see, in today's Amazon world of throwing myriads of new products in a box and then sending it out to all of us anonymous users, with nary the ability to provide quality feedback.This is a great product. It's really low to the floor and solid; really shows attention to detail. The rubber doesn't reek of cheap rubber. The hardware handle and hook are also thick and not just decorative. My old one it replaced was too tall and narrow, kept falling over (and once its side it simply lets the door glide right over it, making it useless as stop) or shifting out place because it had no heft.The smooth base/side grips my hardwood floor well enough to not slide, and the handle/kick plate is a great touch.

Excellent product and it looks sharp mounted on the wall. It was shipped quickly and the quality of the door stop is very good. The hanger is easy to install, although I used drywall screws to mount mine, and the door stop is thick enough to hold open my automatic-closing garage passage door.

This is a great product. It's well made and looks great. We've needed a door stop to prop open our front door, and we love that we can hang this up out of the way when it's not being used. It won't be underfoot, and is less likely to be carried away by our toddler and lost. It's important that it looks nice, since it's in the room where we have visitors. It holds the door open without sliding out. It arrived on time and the packaging gave clear information for how we could contact the seller should we have any problems. I also liked that the seller contacted me to thank me for my purchase before the item even arrived. We're very happy with our purchase and would highly recommend this product.

Just what I wanted. It has a smooth side (up) and a side with rows of rough ridges (down side). It fits and blocks my door. My door is about 1/2" above the carpet and this door stop blocks the door when an attempt is made to open it. The only thing that I would change would be to add a plate or 1/2" tall ridge on the thickest end so that it would be even harder to push the door over the thick part of the wedge. The working part of this seems to be a dense, barely compressible, rubber like compound. It is fairly heavy so it tends to stay in place well.

I purchased this particular door stop because it could be hung on the wall when not in use because my grandson who's a toddler finds them sitting next to the door so he picks them up and walks off with them. It's not super big but still does the job and I really didn't want the bulk because it would take up more space on the wall and be more noticeable. Doorstops that are hollow tend to buckle under pressure. This doorstop is rugged and has ridges on one side and just like another reviewer mentioned the handle makes it easy to pull out if necessary.I only purchased one door stop to try it out. My order showed up missing the actual hook that mounts on the wall. I contacted the seller via Amazon email and was surprised for the very quick response. Needless to say Nathan apologized for the inconvenience and sent out another door stop right away. You can't go wrong, the product is good quality and the customer service is outstanding. I wouldn't hesitate to order more of these in the future.

I used to use the old plastic style door stoppers but they would not stay in place. I bought this one to use on a door so my dog could go in and out when she wanted to. This is a second story door that opens to a balcony, and I didn't want to put in a doggy door in this room. The door is very heavy and has auto door closers on it so I needed a heavy duty stopper to keep it in place. This one does the trick. It does not slip at all, and I like the fact that it came with a wall hook to keep it neatly on the wall by the door.

As a general purpose doorstop, this thing is great...but it did not fit my purposes. My intended purpose was to use it as a backup for a security bar for our bedroom door (in the event of home invasion). On our carpet, it would just slide. I tested on vinyl flooring, same thing. Maybe it would work on wood or other surfaces. But, if you are just looking to have an attractive, well made doorstop for keeping doors held open, this would be great!
