K40K4018FME 18ft Super Mini-8 CB Antenna Cable with Removable FME Connector, Black

The cable is ok, but the packaging is just ridiculous. K40 is the classic example of a great brand being bought by some big conglomerate, the quality reduced and profits taken. At least until people figure it out and stop buying. I think I am there. They wound the cable so tight it albeit ruined the protective cover. Its fine, but it’s kinked. I’d expect more from a name like K40.I’d post a picture, but Amazon makes a big deal about accessing my photos with permissions and then all this that I typed gets lost.

I love these cables. They're super tough and very robust. The weatherproof boot on the one end is great and does an excellent job sealing the cable end from water. The removable connector on one end is very convenient for passing through grommets and really helps to make the install process easier and cleaner. The hardware is well finished and high quality, and they work better than any cheap CB cable I've ever bought. Definitely would buy again.

It is decent... couldn't get a swr below 1.8 no matter what I did. Also the rubber end was damaged straight out of the box. Decent cable for the price but wouldn't purchase again.

Can't get swr under 3, come new out the pack with reflection, spent a lot of time running this cable just to have it be useless

Works perfectly. The "K40-like" end made it very easy for my husband to route the cable where he wanted it to go. The sheathed end, the core lead is a little short from fully connecting to one of the attachments that he would have liked to have kept between the antenna and the radio.

Great cable. FME connectors mean tiny holes. Great for clean, custom installs.

Very easy to run into the cab with the smaller end. Very sturdy and clean design. Lasted 2+ years in weather of all kinds.

Poor quality, failed first month. Wouldnt buy it or recommend it since there is no warranty.

This product was fast and easy to install with the end connector that’s removable!! And CB Radio works perfect!!
