Worthless device, don't buy it.
I bought a similar one at Ace hardware a few years ago, and it lasted just about three years before it died. I could not find the exact same one on Amazon, so bought this.OK, after a couple of weeks, i dropped it from the bed onto a carpet, and that broke it. It should have be sturdier than this, but anyway, I sent for another one.Even though I almost always left it on a windowsill all day to get the sun, after about 6-7 days it just died by itself. No matter what I did, it would no longer work, so obviously i will not take a chance on another one.Very poor quality.

Ordered 10 of them. Seven didn't work upon receipt ...
Ordered 10 of them. Seven didn't work upon receipt, the other three failed shortly thereafter. The seller sent 10 more at no charge.
