Pumpkin Seed Oil Cold pressed - Grown in Oregon 16oz glass bottle- Now Easy to Open Bottle Design

I researched and bought this organic pumpkin seed oil for health reasons. I'm in the camp of thought that getting your medicine from food is always better and safer. The Seed Oil Company is local to me. I live in WA state. In the PNW we are like Maine or Vermont in the NE. We take our locally grown food seriously. I knew I was getting something good when I ordered this pumpkin seed oil but I didn't know it would be so good I'd go through it in two months and crave more immediately! So, I'm here on Amazon ordering it again right now. This pumpkin seed oil has gorgeous rich rich fresh nutty flavor and is straight up beautiful to look at on food! If you pour it into a tablespoon it is very darkly colored with jewel green glinting through. What is left on your plate after having it on, say, a salad looks like art it's such a vivid green. And, I feel very good after including this oil in a meal of soup or such. I wouldn't cook it but add it at the last for the best flavor and health benefit. I'm a little embarrassed to admit it but I love to stir a spoonful into good, full fat cottage cheese and have stunningly green, rich rich nutty with grassy hints pumpkin seed oil cottage cheese. Frickin amazing...so good. Thank you Seed Oil Co. You do a good thing making this lovely pumpkin seed oil! This oil comes carefully packaged in a very nice, airtight lidded, dark glass bottle.

Wow, I bought this for its medical benefits as I am a "mature" male and am interested in prostate health so I wasn't expecting much in the way of taste, but this stuff is delicious! It seems very well crafted from the dark, German beer style bottle to the beautiful dark liquid that is inside. I am thrilled so far with the product which isn't something we often find ourselves saying these days which is why I wanted to write this review. I would buy this purely for its culinary properties so I can't wait to see what it will do for my health challenges!

After researching for good foods for prostate health and learning what I did about pumpkin seeds I ordered this.The packaging was bomb proof. They take pride in making sure it arrives safely.My first impression after pouring a sample straight into a glass was just as impressive. It's unfiltered and organic. It looks and smells fresh. The taste is very pumpkiny. Kind of what I was hoping for.Other people comment about the Austrian version of this. That version has been heated and cooked. It may taste different but its also lost most of its health benefits. I'm very happy with this American version.

It has a fruity taste compared to the Styrian oil, probably because it is pressed from raw seeds rather than toasted seeds. I use it to grow back hair. It actually seems to work by blocking DHT. I see tiny hairs starting to grow after only a few weeks.

This pumpkin seed oil tastes and smells so fresh!It came packaged in a pressed cardboard wrap inside of the box so that the bottle couldn’t roll or get jarred in shipping.The oil is a beautiful dark green and is delicious! It is Not a roasted pumpkin seed oil, like the type from Austria, it is cold pressed and organic and full of great nutrients and antioxidants I’m sure.So happy Amazon carries this oil. : )

excellent flavor and texture. I use it on salads. the new bottle style is definitely easier for controlled pouring and is more practical, but I sort of miss the quanit old-style bottle this used to come in. Anyway, the main thing is that this is a rich, flavorful, healthy oil at agood price.

I don't want to dislike this, but I want to clarify my experience of the product in the hope of shedding some light.My first bottle (bought November 2015) was light and bland and I was disappointed (unlike the rich, dark Styrian Pumpkin Oil which I love).However, I have read that others felt the same with SOME of their bottles, but not all - so maybe this is due to differences in crop / process / quality control.Just to be on the safe side, I am sticking with Styrian Pumpkin Oil, as it seems more consistent, but I hope that you try this as you may find this to your liking (e.g. if the Styrian style is too rich/dark).So what I am saying is ... there is a choice.

So far best pumpkin seed oil. Taste, color, richness indicates honest product.
