Great item, and it saves me from hassle of putting suction craddle to windhseld for my phone. This magnet works like a charm and much more practical.

Works very well for my large Nexus 6. Easy to install and use, holds the phone in any orientation pretty securely. I haven't had it fall off yet. I have a case on my phone, so I didn't have to attach the sticky plate, I was able to use the non-sticky one that goes inside your case.

I lost my money when i bought this is item. PLS PEOPLE DONT BUY IT. DO NOT WORK LIKE SELLER DISCRIBED.

For my iphone 5s, it fits great. It is very slim and space saving. Most of the phone holders are bulky. As the metals are very thin, I just inserted them inside my phone cover and was able to hold the phone. The magnet is very strong and there are no chances of falling apart.

Definitely a 5 for me!! Awesome product and works as advertised!! I have an iPhone 6 and have had problems getting a car holder that works and fits the size. This products solved my problem.

Does exactly what it says! I've just bought a new car and in my old cars have always had something attached to my windscreen, with my new car I wanted to find something that clipped somewhere else (so it wouldn't leave any marks). I went for this and was not disappointed, I was slightly weary at first because I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 4, so quite a big phone and was wondering if this would actually hold it (with my phone case on too)... it did! Once I've finished using it I just unclip it from my air vent and tuck it away in my centre arm rest. Highly recommend, and for the price you really can't go wrong.

For years I have tried many phone holders in my car but they have all been the type that stick to the windscreen. Which are OK but you tend to struggle to get the phones out of the holder. Not so with this holder. It just clips to the air vent in the car, you either stick the adhesive magnetic disc on to the back of your phone or place it inside your phone cover and stick it on the holder. The phone is safe and secure and so easy to take the phone of the holder. Great phone holder, highly recommended.

TL;DRGood product. Well worth the money. Doesn't effect phone operation*(for me anyway). Holds the phone even on rough Devon lanes at a swift pace.Quite a nice feeling product. Weighty but not so heavy that it pull it self off the air vents. I see a few reviews saying it doesn't fit the air vents in their car. Maybe so, but there is a thin and thick slot to accommodate different size vents. I use mine on a 56 plate Corsa and I've had no problems(except the vents in the Corsa are pretty flimsy anyway) so far. I use the thinner slot on the horizontal slats that direct air up and down while the thicker/wider slot just about goes either side of the vertical piller that directs air left and right. It's a nice snug fit and holds the phone proper solid, even on rough Devon lanes. I've done a good few hundred miles using this product and I would point other towards it if asked for an in car mounting system.I think someone else had mentioned that they can quite literally chuck their phone towards the mount and it sticks. Can confirm, although you may reduce the longevity of the mount by doing this, so don't be silly. I've used the rectangular plate inside a Spigen case for my P8 lite, which I've cushioned with a few Rizlers so it doesn't mark the back of the phone proper. There doesn't seem to be any risk as the plate is quite nicely smoothed and painted with an almost soft touch paint, but I can be a bit ham fisted at times and extra protection never hurt any one ;).*I would, however advise that people look up a schematic of their phones(just google your phone model and add schematic) just to make sure of where the motherboard and components are positioned within the phone. I've put the plate, along with extra Rizler padding directly where the battery is located as to reduce navigation interference even more, which for me is offset to the right side(looking at the back). I've had no problems what so ever. The magnets are strong enough to hold the phone but not strong enough to interfere with phone operation.

Perfect vent holder for my iPhone 6S. The holder comes with a thin, metal rectangle which sits between your phone and it's case (don't worry, it's nice and smooth, so won't scratch!) that then forms the basis of the bond to the magnet.The grip is really very strong and works a treat in the vent on my 3 series, which also puts it in the right place to benefit from having close proximity to my charge cable. Oh, and it also allows you to open and close the vent, which is a massive bonus!I've had this for some months now and I drive on average 40k miles per year, so it's certainly been tested. Not once has this fallen off, or slid and needed re-adjusting whilst on the the move.It's not ostentatious, it's not expensive and it's never failed. What are you waiting for? Buy it now!

Having tried all sorts of phone holders this is by far the simplest and best and works really well. I have the metal plate inside my phone case and it just sticks, instant phone holder and it has never fallen off. Great product and excellent speedy service. This is third one I have bought for three different cars and fits them all.

Such a handy and simple device for holding your phone, however you have to have the metal plate behind your phone between the case the whole time. Which doesn't seem like a big deal, but the plate was interfering with my phone, made my screen time out straight away and wouldn't light up the lock screen when I got a notification..My phone is the Samsung s6 with a proper Samsung flip case that let's you read the screen through the cover

I use a Samsung Galaxy S3 fitted with a very large 7200 m/a battery which makes it an extremely heavy phone. I have tried a variety of phone holders all with varying degrees of failure. I saw this magnetic holder on Amazon and thought I would give it a try. When it arrived and I unpacked it and saw how small it was I thought no way will this support my phone, wrong I have now had it in the car for a couple of weeks which included a journey from Edinburgh to North Wales the phone has not moved. What is also good about this little piece of kit is that although it holds the phone securely, to remove it just requires you to slide the phone off. There are no screws no clamps no adjustments just two slots on the back for different sizes of air vents slats. A great piece of kit get one you,ll love it.

This device is so simple it is hard to believe it works! Just push this device onto your Air Vent anmd attach the metal plate to your phone: that's it.The device slots onto the air vent fins firmly. If there's a minor downside to this device it is that once fitted onto the vent fins it limits the airflow adjustment - but that is just a minor quibble.There are two options for your mobile phone.Option 1. a very thin metal plate that you simply slip inside your mobile back cover, so remains invisible. That is the option I used on my Samsung Galaxy S5.Option 2. is a thin self adhesive metal plate that you adhere to the back of your mobile: not invisible but quite unobtrusive.The phone then magnetically attaches to the holder on the air vent. This product does exactly what it is supposed to, it comes with a sticky metal plate (circular) or a plate you can place between your phone and phone case (rectangular) I like the fact these are metal plates not magnets as I have seen friends with these sorts of items where the magnet goes in their phone not the mount, meaning when their phone is left unattended we can leave it in some pretty interesting places.My only issue I have had with this product is that the mass of my phone is heavy enough to rotate my air vents, which can get annoying, this isn't an issue due to the product, however a design improvement could be some form of support rods to stop the phone moving as I imagine alot of people may have this issue as pretty much all air vents move in one way or another.

Before this, I had a suction holder which served for about a year before loosing its ability to stay on the dashboard regardless of how dust free the surface was. Needless to say, I got fed up with the phone falling off at the weirdest times when using the phone as a sat nav and on unfamiliar roads!I saw this on a tech blog and decided to give it a try, and I can happily say I'm pleased with the product. I would also recommend it to anyone looking for a product that can securely hold your smartphone whilst you use it for navigation.It fits perfectly and unobtrusively in the air vent and unlike a suction holder, I do not have to worry about removing it from its location on arrival at my destination. It is also a magnet and as gas as I'm aware, its ability to "hold" my iPhone 6 Plus in place should remain the same as the first day I bought it, for as long as I need to use it.One major drawback (and nice to have) is its inability to change the viewing angle of the phone for better viewing of the information being presented...but a minor annoyance as the voice guidance is there to counter this.

This item is I'd say more suitable for people with plastic phone covers.My phone doesn't have a cover and is made from metal and not plastic so when I put that magnet sticker on the back of the phone, the phone started to act really strange.I was typing and the screen was going crazy : not typing or closing the app, jumping from place to another. This all started when I put the magnet on it when I took it down from the phone, the phone was acting normally. So the purchase just ended up in a drawer (in case I'll get a different phone later).

I love this little holder. This is the third I've ordered, one for myself, husband and mum. They all think it's great.I haven't used the sticker on the magnet, just put inside the cover my phone it holds perfectly.The layout in one of the cars means it won't sit vertically. So I put it in horizontally, which suits since it's mainly used for navigation and my mum finds it easier to view that way. Her phone has quite a thick cover and the magnet still holds it well in place.We've used it on an iPhone 6, 7 and 8.Would definitely buy this if you're looking for a phone holder, can't beat the price.

I read a lot of the reviews regarding this holder and chose to buy it on the strengths of them and was not disappointed. I used it today and it holds my S5 perfectly so I can use it as a sat nav mounted off the air vent. It feels very secure and sturdy with the magnetic and I am happy to recommend it as such. Maybe different phones weight and size will depend a lot on how you judge this but in my case the Samsung S5 is not too heavy and therefore does not move at all. I have now been using it to hold my TomTom Sat Nav in position. I removed the suction bracket from the back and put a piece of metal in it's place and Bingo! It holds it perfectly. Bear in mind though that mine is a TomTom Go V3 so much smaller than later models but it's excellent. Gets it away from the windscreen too on a useless suction mount. Remember its illegal except the rear view mirror to have anything blocking clear view of the screen.Very pleased with this simple yet practical idea of a holder.

This is a great Mobile Phone holder. The device itself clips easily into the air vent. It is rubber and therefore less likely to break or give problems compared to hard plastic. It can be easily removed and relocated.The Magnet is very strong and keeps the phone firmly in place even on bumpy roads.Two options come with the holder: a large metal rectangle that can be placed inside the back cover, or if your phone has a not removable cover there is a metal disc with an adhesive backing.The great thing is you can orient your phone portrait or landscape with a minimum of effort.I have tried lots of holders for phones and so far this is the best I have come across.

Well at first i was a bit sceptical about it but it is a great product after all. Holds my galaxy note 3 with the flip case on really firmly. If i fold the flip over the back of the phone then yes it looses grip. Like others mentioned there are 2 options a really slim metal plate that fits between the case and the phone or a self adhesive plate you stick outside the case. Currently the metal plate fits inside the galaxy note but I changed phone today to a LG G4 and it doesn't fit that well.
