Slingshot, Metal Slingshot Professional Hunting Slingshot with Heavy Duty Launching Bands, High Velocity Catapult

I bought 2 of these for my grandsons for Christmas. Of course PopPop had to test them out before wrapping them. These are well designed slingshots that look cool. The best thing is that they are accurate and will shoot at least 150 feet as my neighbors shed dent can prove. I worried that they might "pop" me in the hand when shot like the ones I made as a kid but that did not occur. I would say not for unsupervised children for sure (Or rogue PopPops). A+ product

Nice thick piece of solid steel. Solid screws with deep slit for solid tightening without striping the screw. It is robust and flat for a pocket. My only comment would be that it was fairly heavier then I thought it would be but I'd rather have the extra thickness for robustness over being thinner and lighter. I have no clue how people are calling this small also, its an average pocket slingshot size, I really wouldn't want it much bigger... The bands that come with it are average, nothing special. Overall I Think it is well worth the money despite having the kid like gimmicky face design on the handles. I foresee it lasting quite some time, so I'm happy.

I use this sling shot to chase away the feral cats that hunt, and kill, the birds at the bird feeders in my yard. The idea is that they feel it, but it does not hurt them. Note this thing is tiny. It is uncomfortably small in my hand, and I am an average, even small, man. The pouch is also small. Air rifle pellets work great. Small rocks may not work so well. I should send it back, but will likely keep it because the small size actually makes it a bit more convenient. Putting in the rubber straps is a bit tricky. I do not use the sights. Comes in plastic with a convenient pouch. Which I like...

I really love the slingshot. Very heavy duty and shoots like a dream. Putting it together took maybe 2mins tops. The sights work pretty well but I find I do better the old fashion way.Now for the bad. The leather belt case is nice but mine arrived with 2 busted snaps on it. 1 is missing the back half and the other was pulled right off the leather. So I'd say get the slingshot and not the whole kit.

I really like the compactness of this slingshot. I am not a good shooter, but I am learning. This one came with a video that was very helpful. My guess is that these are pretty good for close range things. I believe that they should be used responsibly. The reason for only four stars is that the band posts were missing from my order. Not a big thing, but certainly a thing. Maybe the seller could make sure that I receive them sometime.

Simple to assemble. We use slingshots in our target sports activities with the Girl Scouts. I have a variety of models from basic to more complex. I’ve had more girls grab and shoot this model.

1st, the slingshot itself appears to be high quality steel - no idea about the bands as I haven't put it together yet, there are no instructions.Upon initially taking the screws out (to load a band), please note there are small springs behind the screws (easy to lose once unscrewed). Not clear on how far one can put in the band, I believe it is finite, so that may answer my own question.Also, the slingshot is TINY. This could be a child's version, I don't know, but I promise you, a child will lose the springs (behind the screws) trying to put this together. Planned obsolescence perhaps...

When it came in one of the eyes had come out, but it was easy to glue it back in. I took it out to test shoot and it shoots great. The level bubble on the sight is a genus idea and makes it easy to level out for a good clean shot. Even though there was no instructions on how to install the sighting thread I was able to find a video online on how to do this. In all this is a great deal for the Deluxe Edition as I noticed that the frame can be used without the hardware sights as it has sighting markers for 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50 meters right on each frame arm so no matter if you are a left or right handed shooter you will have the markers to line up your aim.
