EYIW U-Picks Cast Iron Skillet Cleaner Chainmail Scrubber

I did some research on chainmail scrubbers for cast iron cleaning and my decision was between this and the round chainmail. I chose this because I like to be able to grab hold in my hand a good portion of the scrubber to use and the flat sheet scrubbers would have been all bunched up in my fist leaving not much outside it to scrub with.The silicone bar did try to squirt out the opening so I took some of the smaller rings where they were doubled and used them to close up the opening. No real need to take out the silicone bar anyway when you just squirt some soap on it to clean or put it in the dishwasher. It is so much better to use with this modification (use 2 sets of pliers to unbend and rebend the rings to close the opening). My favorite tool for cleaning cast iron, I will probably get over to keep in the travel trailer to clean the camping Dutch ovens.

This works well to scrub deep into my cast iron. has a nice give to it from the silicone. only thing is the top needs to be closed better to keep the silicone from moving, it was an easy fix. would still buy again if and when I need to.

I wanted chainmail with a sponge insert for easier use and this definitely accomplished that. However, after months of regular use, the sponge won't stay in. I think part of this is our fault because we stored it in a way that it kind of slumped over on itself and warped its form. However, I still use the chainmail without the insert and it works well. I would purchase again and just make sure that I store it flat when not using.

Bought this sponge to clean my cast iron pans. The orange sponge itself feels like soft rubber. It definitely does its job. It cleans the pans perfectly. Since it has the chains on the outside you could use it with water or without water to get off stuck on food. Would buy again.

I’ve seen this type of metal scrubbers in the past and finally decided I needed to try it. Are use a lot of cast-iron pans and this “ sponge” cleans it thoroughly and quickly without disturbing the seasoned pan. The orange silicone sponge inside is easily removed for cleaning! Can’t believe I waited so long to try some thing that works so well.

This little guy is great. Cleans my cast iron with ease. It’s a welcomed addition since now I actually use my cast iron more often now that I feel better about cleaning it

This beats anything I've ever tried on my cast iron! I love it - and the silicon can go in the dishwasher or be soaked in bleach - and not get smelly or nasty. Salt and scraping may work, but this is much easier, and not as messy.

The chain slips around the end when you’re scrubbing. That being said, it doesn’t come off, it twist, I guess is a better word, however I don’t think there is anything that could be done about it. It didn’t seem effect how well it cleaned. I don’t regret buying it. PT
