Mojave Audio Large Diaphragm Tube Condenser Professional Microphone

I have been searching for what seems like ages to find that professional vocal sound. I'd tried many different mic's including some of those made by a famous German mic company and non of them lived up to expectations. This mic is warm and smooth but also airy on the top but not harsh, pair it with a good pre-amp and your golden!

This mic will run with the best of them... actually, it is one of the best but 1/3 the price of most. I have it paired with a liquid Channel. My gosh it sounds amazing with female vocals and spoken male voice. However, some male vocals tend to sound a bit nasal and I have had a hard time combating this. Don't let that stop you though. This mic belongs in your closet. I will purchase another mic that works well with male vocals. Best to have more than one mic for different applications if possible.

Fantastic microphone. Sounds absolutely enormous on male voiceover when utilizing the proximity effect and running through Presonus ADL 600.

I've had a pair of the MA200's for a while now. They work great for room mic's as well as up close on guitar, cello and even vocals. When I got them I borrowed a pair of old U 67's and a/b'd them. I preferred the body and tone of the MA200's over the $8000 Neumann's. If you get one of these versatile microphone's you will not be dissapointed!
