Beautiful 8ft prelit tree! Multiple lighting modes from dim to super bright and variety of flashing speeds. Not super full but looks plenty full once we added 50 Xmas ball ornaments. It's a medium width tree and perfect size for my Livingroom. Widest at 36". The tree top white star is a tad small that flashes dim red lighting that I wish was a bit brighter but overall I'm loving this beautiful tree for an affordable price at$129 for an 8ft prelit tree. I have been searching for a full size fiber optic tree and I have seen this one on Amazon for a few years, but I wasn't certain whether I would like it or not. I decided to take a chance and I purchased it recently, as I knew the Christmas season would be quickly arriving. Through Amazon, I was told that the company would be delivering the tree to me in about two weeks, which was fine, since I did the free shipping and I was in no rush to receive t early, since I was ordering well before I would be setting it up. I believe I ordered it on a Friday, so I knew not to count the weekend as possible shipping days. I didn't even bother to keep track of my order once the new week started and I was surprised to receive my order at my door on Tuesday of that next week. So I was pleasantly surprised I received my order well within the time estimated. Upon opening the box, I noted that the tree is divided into two main pieces for the bottom and top. There is a connector for each piece to connect after joining the two together, so you don't have to worry about extra wires or extension cords hidden in your tree. Near the bottom is the control box for the different settings and the cord to plug the whole thing into an outlet. When I attempted to test out the one and only button on the control device, it was a bit loose and I ended up pushing it into the casing of the device! I was concerned at that point, as I knew the tree wasn't the most glamorous or expensive tree, so I thought it was maybe too cheaply made. I then removed the two screws holding the device together and opened it. There isn't too much inside, aside from the little motherboard to control the different settings, the button connected to it, and the outer button that I pressed was sitting in there as well, albeit loosely to one side. I repositioned it to where it needed to go, I closed and replaced the screws, and I reattempted to press the button, as the instructions indicated. I was relieved to see that it worked just fine at that point. I am guessing the outer button may have just became loose during the shipping process. So don't panic if that happens to you. Just open it, place it back in position, close it, and try again. I know some reviewers have stated the tree is a bit bright, but I absolutely love it! I think it is perfect! I love Christmas, though, so I may just still be excited and looking at it with awe-inspiring eyes, but I think it will met my intent perfectly. Aside from the fiber optics spread throughout the tree, there are little LED lights spread throughout the tree and there is a built-in (and attached) star for the tree topper. I didn't realize it came with it's own tree topper, but I love it as well! It is a little small and only shines in white, but I love it. Once December comes along and I set it up, I will edit this post with a picture or two to help better visualize what I am saying. I may even put up my tree in late November after Thanksgiving, ha! (Yes, I am one of those people) I hope this review helps a little, as I have not been able to find any other full-sized fiber optic trees. I know they were briefly popular enough for the usual brick and mortar stores to sell them a few years back, but they have all stopped and I have not seen any, except for the little trees you can set up at your place of work, but I really liked the look of them on the full-sized trees. UPDATE: I have set up my tree and everything is perfect. I absolutely love it. This tree is exactly what I was looking for. As some have mentioned, it is a bit bright, but that does not bother me. I love that about it. I have the tree in my living room, so the room will be well-lit anyways, so the bright lights are that much more noticeable, as opposed to regular lights that would not be as visible in a lighted room. I have included a couple of photos; one light, and one dark. Dark one came out a bit blurry, since it is difficult for a camera to focus with low light conditions.

Some of the reviews almost scared me off from even taking this tree out of the box. I'm glad I did, though. The tree was very easy for this 76-year-old to put up by herself. The only difficult part was finding that there are 4 wires in all to be connected. 4-pronged one go into 4-pronged ones and 5-pronged ones go into 5-pronged ones. Being not great with some technologies, I kept trying to plug in a 4-prong into a 5-prong. Then, fortunately I discovered that there were 4 different wires. Two were kind of buried in the branches of the bottom section. I was glad I discovered this on my own rather than asking my daughter for help and seeing the amused smirk on her face when she found the other wires. This tree can be placed just about anywhere. Before I put it up, I moved furniture around because I thought that it would be too crowded with the room as it was. I thought I was going to have to remove pictures on the walls but waited until it was up and realized that this tree has a very low profile, so pictures could stay where they were. Now that the tree is assembled and placed in a corner of the room, I look around and see all the other possible locations in my living room that I could have placed it. Maybe I'll move it around or at least change its location next year. I was going to buy a skirt for around the bottom but instead found an old lace tablecloth and folded it around the stand and floor, so it looks like snow. Eventually I'll put presents under it, and it will look very festive. Don't let the reviews of the crazy, bright flashing lights scare you into sending it back before you actually put it up. You will find a setting you will like. Just keep pressing the buttons that are not as hard to get to as described by some. The tree sits up high enough, so you can easily sit on the ground and play with the buttons until you find a setting that you like. I do have one regret, however. My room has high ceilings so I wish I would have gotten the 7-foot tree instead of the 6-foot tree. I hope this review helps you make the decision to purchase this tree.

The tree is beautiful and easy to set up. It takes a bit to figure out all the settings though. Even on the lowest setting this tree is bright. We had to fold down some of the white and green bulbs so they didn't glare. You can have it fiber optic only though. Some of the settings are a bit crazy. Super fast flashing lights. I wish you could have the lights still but it's not an option. The limbs hold ornaments pretty good. Only really heavy ones would be hard. So the only thing I don't like about the tree is it's too bright and you cant have the lights set to steady but I still love it. And it looks beautiful at night on the lowest setting. We laugh that people in another state can see it lol.
