Buddy Products Stand Up Workstation with Beveled Edge, 26.5 x 39.75 x 36.75 Inches, Gray (6461-18)

This may have been a shipping error, but the desk I received is not at all the color (light gray) that appears in the image for the product. The desk that arrived is a very dark slate gray. Amazon was very kind in adjusting for me, but I decided I actually like the dark gray better anyway. I changed to stand-up desks in my home office a few months ago by converting existing furniture to stand-up height. The smaller of the two pieces I converted was damaged in a move to clean tile grout, so instead of trying to fix it, and remaining committed, after a three-month trial, to standing, I found this desk on Amazon that has the same surface area of the home-modified one that was damaged. I use this piece for my work laptop, external keyboard, mouse and second large (24") monitor. It's sturdy and durable, and the top is textured with a wide bevel on the front edge, and narrow bevels on the sides and rear. The desk is designed for rigidity, and performs very well in that way; no wobbling, not spindly. There is a shelf between the two leg stands that I use to store back-up hard drives. The shelf is not as deep as the top, allowing for leg space if you sit at a stool (I bought one, but never use it) or for storage of the stool when it's not in use. I like it. I would buy it again. Great value.

I am 5' 3.75" inches tall, and this is the right height for me.I had some trouble putting the bottom shelf in one of the higher levels because it seemed like the holes were too small or partially painted-over. The screws were huge, holes seemed small. It's also just heavy. I ended up putting it on the lowest level. Everything else was easy. Set it up in the middle of a big room with someone who can lift things.The color is a true grey, not silver or shiny, even an institutional or what I'd call "old computer" grey, which I don't mind. The picture I'm seeing for this product has black pieces on the bottom, but mine has beige and both shelves are beveled and rounded.I've had this for months now with a big heavy computer on the bottom shelf. I got the MS80B monitor stand from 3M to go on top, to raise up my screen. It's simple but I like how it looks.

I have used this now for a few weeks and I have no major complaints. There is plenty of space on the top for two monitors, Mac Mini, keyboard, mouse, and the usual clutter I have at my workspace. It is sturdy, but if you lean heavily on it it will wobble some. It would need to be far heavy (and thus more expensive) to eliminate the wobble. One nice thing it is missing is wire management. Easy enough to add, but I still wish it included some. The top seems durable so I don't anticipate premature wear like some of the other's in this price range seem to have based on reviews.Pros:CostSizeCons:No wire management built in.

You won't be disappointed with this desk, especially for the price. Used this desk at my previous employer and had to have it for a home office. It's sturdy, easy to assembly, ample desk space with functional shelf for tower/printer or office supplies. The neutral colors are pleasing, and the mix of construction materials gives a nice textured, tech feel. It will also comfortably accommodate up to two 17" monitors.

Absolutely thrilled with this standing desk. For the price it is sturdy, was easy to assemble, and it is exactly what I wanted. I use it for a monitor, and switch back and forth from my sitting desk to standing and I take my wireless keyboard and mouse with me. The only problem with that is that the monitor needs to be higher. I used one of those wooden craft crates to put my monitor on top of. It works.

It arrived cracked, but was completely usable. I love my desk...the first day my feet were so sore I didn't know how I was going to get to day two, but you get used to standing. To the point where its annoying to sit!

After a year of heavy use this standing desk is still perfect in my opinion. I don't know if they're still available, but I highly suggest them. Very simple to put together, and very strong.
