Fun At Night
I spend a lot of time up at a local lake fishing at night and this monocular with the night vision capability is a lot of fun. Takes great pictures too. I would buy this item again without question.

Decent tool, not outdoors friendly but user friendly
User interface:Easy to navigate once you memorize which button is for what. There is no optical zoom, only digital, so the zoomed images are pixelated compared to regular and that’s ok.The camera shoots both video and stills and can be used during daylight which is kind of an unexpected plus. The IR has several stages of intensity but I found the highest modes to be somewhat toasty and unless you’re working in an environment where there is little to reflect the IR usually the lowest mode will suffice. With the second to lowest mode I can effectively sweep a 250-300ft radius of the property with no problems.Battery life:Not too good on alkalines, plus they leak. So far it’s lasted 3 hours of intermittent use on energizer lithium’s so I suppose that’s what I’ll be using from now on.Holds well in the hand but feels... like something I wouldn’t want to get wet.My biggest peeve about it is how bright the screen is the inability to dim the screen. I live in a place where in twenty minutes your eyes can adjust to seeing the Milky Way. Under those circumstances the screen is simply too bright. I am having to wear sunglasses to use the device. The menu should have some sort of feature to dim the backlight of the screen but I have not found it.Beyond that and the inability to mount to a regular 1/4-20 camera tripod I’m happy and would recommend it.

Good, but small view
This product is a great product. But unfortunately it's view is very small so if your getting it to try and see what's going on in you yard at night, unless you are going to aim it at like a door nob are something of an area that small this is not the product for you. It works great , but all in all the camera on my phone works just fine in the night and delivers a good quality video.

Not real night vision but would still be fine for most people.
After using this for an hour I've decided to return this item. I have a lot of experience with gen 1 and 2 night vision and this is my first experience with a low cost digital night vision system. This does not even come close to gen 1. Without the IR illumination, the camera in my Samsung A51 had better low light sensitivity in real time viewing.I can see this being great for people wanting to view the wildlife in their backyard and the like with the IR on. Even with the naked eye, that IR illumination is going to be obvious at the camera from a distant observer. I was really hoping that the camera's sensor would be much more sensitive.Pros: comes with 32 GB card, reasonably well built for the price, does work reasonably well with the IR on, most people will be happy with this product.Cons: screen way too bright, needs diopter lens so that you can put it up to your eye, rather low sensitivity without the IR illumination, pictures are not good quality.Buy this for casual night viewing but understand what you are buying and its limitations.

Reviews are legit and this does the job!
Pros:1. Cool unit for the price2. Can work as a video camera or just a camera for pictures3. Compact and lightweight4. Ease of use5. Clarity in both day time and night time6. Not a NVG where it's green like in the movies, it's more like the grayish night time CCTV videoCons:1. None so farNeutral:1. I don't know if it is 4x, but it is a fixed 2-3x zoom so just expect the FOV to be like that2. I don't know about viewing in darkness up to 650 ft, temper expectations, it does it grainier the further you point it and adjust the focusKeep in mind, I just use this for fun in the dark and plan to use this in the woods/hiking when it's late. I only went with this because of the reviews and the photos/videos people posted and so far, it lives up to it. Honest review, I was not paid or compensated for this and I bought it at full price, just a small flex.

A lot of bang for the buck.
The media could not be loaded. This monocular works surprisingly well given the price, comes with everything you need besides the batteries. The zoom could be better but you the picture when in focus is much sharper and of better quality than I thought I’d get. Good rechargeable batteries make all the difference in getting as much play time as you’ll need but all in all I am pretty impressed with the picture quality, the feel of the device in your hands and then overall build quality, doesn’t seem like some cheap lightweight junk when you hold it and it the definition speaks for itself in total darkness or low light. My only critiques would be that I wish you could see a bit further or zoom/see further and that maybe an “auto focus” feature or button. I’d give this monocular a solid 8.5-9 out of 10. Def happy with this purchase

Don't waste your money!
Terrible night vision. And you cannot see the buttons at night, so therefore you have to squint or use a flashlight which defeats the purpose how about illuminating the buttons?

All around fantastic product!!
This monocular is a fantastic product for the price. The seven stages of night vision work great, as does the twist focus at the end of the lenses. I was able to get very clear night time pictures of animals out to 60-80 yards. The ability to take pictures and video during the day or night make this monocular that much more worth it. A few criticisms would be the digital zoom does pixilate the picture at longer distances, and it does not come with a carrying case. Added bonus is the memory card it comes with. Also I received mine four days early!! This product is very compact, fits in the hand nicely, and very easy to operate. It also easily fits into my tactical pockets on my vest and pants. You wont find all these quality day and night capabilities for a better price. I would definitely buy this product again.
