2012 Marvelous Mah Jongg Year of the Dragon Card

My Mah Jongg group was looking for a little more variety from the AAMJ and NMJ cards. We got it with this one. It's very challenging at first and it totally different from the standard cards. Some of the card abbreviations are different so that takes some getting used to. Categories are entirely different. We find it much more challenging.Possible negatives:If you enter tournaments, you will not be familiar with the year's National Mah Jongg card that is the tournament standard.If you belong to two groups, you have to be familiar with two totally different cards.Overall, we like the card, but don't know if we will order it next year or not.

I have played majong for 35 years and where ever i have played everyone used the same card. I was shocked when I received this card which is not the same and no one had ever seen it before. It would be good to make this known to people who are looking at at so if they want an unofficial card they will know that is what they're getting. It was my fault for not researching but I was unaware that the card I had been playing was not the only one in use.

These cards looked like the national junior mahjong league besides the front cover. They are obviously not. I am new at mahjong. So I was uncomfortable using different set-up. The seller was extremely helpful and refunded my money with problem. Recommendation - show a better pic of inside of card.

I wasn't aware that this was the Chinese version of the card. The hands are very different from our American version and we use additional flowers plus jokers the Chinese don't incorporate into their hands.

These cards give an alternative to the standard american hands. There are a bit easiier and it is nice ot have a variety of hands to play with from time to time.

Just recently discovered the Marvelous Mah Jongg cards. Nice change.

A change from the standard Mahjongg card, both are challenaging and most of all fun! Enjoy the new and different change of pace, our group does not play for money just the enjoyment of the game..............
