The Hayward W3T-CELL-15 TurboCell Salt Chlorination Cell has been an excellent investment for my in-ground pool over the past year. Since installing it, I’ve had no issues, and it has consistently kept my pool’s chlorine levels perfectly balanced. The unit is easy to install, and I appreciate how low-maintenance it is compared to traditional chlorine methods. It has saved me time and hassle by automatically generating chlorine, keeping the water clean and clear. The salt chlorination system has also made the water feel much softer and more comfortable to swim in. Overall, I’m extremely happy with the Hayward TurboCell—reliable, efficient, and well worth the price!

I did a lot of research for a new Salt Cell. In this case, it is better to go with the name brand. There are a lot of knock-offs out there at a great price, but read the reviews carefully. Hayward gives up to 3 years warranty if you register the product (most salt cells last 2-3 years). Where others offer long warranties, almost all of the reviews show that they are unresponsive to customer service inquiries, and often will not honor the warranty. Further, read about the metal coatings on the cells as well. The metal is the catalyst to convert the salt to chlorine. Hayward is thicker, so t will last longer.The cell is easy to install if you are replacing one. It simply screws off and on (make sure you turn off the water flow!)The only reason I give a 4 star is the price. Hayward knows what I have said is true, and I feel they take advantage of that by over-pricing their products. The last time I replaced my salt cell, I paid less than half of today's price. @Hayward - if you are paying attention, stop gouging us!

I purchased a “compatible” cell with a 2 year warranty, and it stopped working after four months. When I made a warranty claim, I was given the runaround by the seller. Eventually, the warranty was honored and I received a refund. The Hayward original, in my opinion, is the best and is worth the extra cost.

I have had the hayward salt generator installed for less than 2 months when the salt reading starting acting up reading low. I have a salinity reader which showed the salt in normal range. I cleaned the cell per Haywards online recommendation even though it should not need cleaned this early in the game. I put it back on and still the salt reading was low evem after resetting the system. I then took the pool water to have it independently checked and their readings showed salt at a normal range. At this point I went back online and filled out the warranty information. I got no response for over a week so I called the number and after several automated frustrations I finally got a human. The person was rude and did not seemed to want to help or care I haven't had generation for weeks at this point. He said he would pass along my information. After several more days I receive an email basically telling me to do all the things I have already done and if that all failed find a hayward rep. I don't live close to any hayward reps and I'm done at this point. I wasted over 900 dollars for a product. I could have just bought a generic one for half that with no questions asked returns for 1 year. Amazon says I'm past the 30 days for their return policy. I strongly advise you to steer clear of directly buying ANY Hayward products as you will be left with nothing but frustration.

I have been buying the generic salt generators for years. Not being a throw away person I have a stack of 6 generators. I believe I have learned my lesson. You get what you pay for. I went back to Hayward and went from c15 to c8 and am running system at 50-60% And yes it costs approx 30% more but it's well worth the extra money to get QUALITY.AJM

I've had this product for over 2 months and so far I'm VERY satisfied. My last Cell lasted 7 years, hopefully this one will too. The product was delivery quickly. It was an exact replacement from Hayward. Replacing the Cell only takes 5 minutes to remove the old unit and replace it with the new Cell. The instructions included were easy to read and follow. Product registration was quick and easy to accomplish. The price was considerably lower than the one I priced at my local Pool Supply store.
