Veterinary Ocular Pathology: A Comparative Review 1st Edition

I have long waited for this well written and informative textbook on veterinary ocular pathology. While there is ocular pathology inserted into several textbooks (both ophthalmology and pathology textbooks), there have been few (Saunders' Atlas) dedicated only to the ocular pathology of domestic animals. The photographs and photomicrographs are stunning and in full color. The text is mostly outline style and easy to read especially for those studying for the veterinary ophthalmology or veterinary pathology boards. It is also an informative reference text for the general practitioner or boarded pathologist and/or ophthalmologist. In addition, the subject matter is relevant to those who teach ocular pathology to veterinary students and no school or college of veterinary medicine should be without one.

There is little information on ocular pathology of the horse, and some terminology used by pathologists is not used by veterinary ophthalmologists. The book is however blessed with a good format and many good quality images.
